Ashton's POV
It had been a week and I had moved from Luke's flat to Michael's house back in LA. I hadn't heard anything from either Aria or Dougie. I had been over to the house to collect some more things before I left but all of Aria's clothes were gone. Neither had been on any of their social media accounts. I text Doug asking how everything was and left it at that. We both needed space I just wanted to make sure she was okay.

I had been doing a lot of work with the 5SOS lads over the past week, mostly to take my mind off everything. We have done live Facebook chats, follow sprees, competitions and so much more. One of the few competitions we had done included our fans singing a cover of one of our songs. We would pick the winner and they would get to spend a day with us and perform the song with us at one of our shows. I loved interacting with our fans so mostly it was working as a distraction. That was until I went to bed and then all I had were my thoughts. Constant questions going around in my head and memories from our past. I just had to keep telling myself that we both needed this. I had to believe that if it is meant to be, even if we found other people in the meantime, then we would eventually find each other again.

Today was the day the winner of our singing competition would be announced and we were all pretty excited. Nothing compared to the excitement that came from our fans however. We had spent the past few days watching for hours every candidate that had enter. There were some good ones and some not so good, but one person stood out above the rest. Ebony. The picture quality wasn't great on her video, but from what we could see she was pretty. In the video she had sent you could see her performing an older song of ours called 'Close as Strangers'. She was playing the guitar and her vocals were incredible. We all agreed that she was the best. We arranged to spend the day with her in two week's time when we were due to play a small show in Baltimore, close to where she was from. It's safe to say we were all excited to perform again; it would be interesting to have someone else on stage with us too, at least for one song.
