Chapter Twenty Six

Ebony's POV
That was incredible. I still cannot believe what just happened. I had just got to sing on stage. Not only that but I had just sang on stage with my idols. I headed back to the wings to watch the end of the 5 Seconds of Summer set. Twenty minutes later after their encore they were done.

'That was amazing.' Luke exclaim.
'You guys were incredible.' I smiled.
'We were incredible? Did you not hear yourself? You...Just...Wow your voice. Michael said enthusiastically.
'Yeah, they were loving you out there.' Calum added.
'Aww thanks guys. You really think so?' I asked, as I quickly glanced at Ashton who was staring at me from across the small room backstage.
'I know so. Did you not see the reaction? It couldn't have been much better.' Michael smiled. I thanked him and made my way over to Ashton. He smiled at me.
'You really were amazing, you know. Kinda reminded me of someone I used to know.' He said in almost a whisper.
'Aria?' I questioned.
'Yeah, but in a good way.' he added quickly.

'What happened with Aria?' I blurted out. Ashton looked a bit taken aback and uneasy. His eyes began to fill with tears.
'Oh my God! I'm so sorry. That was so rude of me. Obviously you don't have to answer that.' I said guiltily. Tripping over my words as I spoke.
'No, don't be. I'm sorry, this is ridiculous. Look Ebony, I know it's only been a day but I would really like to get to know you better. I'd like to take you out, on like a date.' he said slowly.
'Ashton, I would really like that.' I replied happily.
'Really' he said, sounding shocked. I nodded still smiling.
'Great, well we're pretty busy over the next few weeks doing interviews and signings and stuff. It's probably a lot to ask but we are back here in a month. Do you think we could do it then.' he asked hopefully.
'That sound perfect. Here is my number.' I say, grabbing his hand and writing my number on it.
'Thanks.' he chucked, as he proceeded to wrap his arm around my shoulder as we walk over to the other guys.
