Brave (Sequel to Beside You)

Chapter Thirty

Ebonys POV
I had come up with a cunning plan to see Ashton before our date in a few weeks. I was going to fly over to England and surprise him at a signing. It might sound crazy but I just wanted to make him smile. I had dm'd the other guys and they seemed unsure about the idea. Michael really wasn't happy about it but I decided to go with my gut. I found a signing that had not been well advertised, I booked the next week off work and flew over to London.

It took me about one hour to find the right store, but eventually I found it. I was stood outside with a load of other girls for about two hours until the doors finally opened. I wasn't far from the entrance so it didn't take me long to get inside. Once I was inside I could see all four of them stood to the side at the back of the store. I walked around slowly looking at the different CD's until I noticed they'd been given free reign to walk around and meet fans.

1 hour later I had managed to stay out of sight. I noticed that Calum and Michael were looking around a lot, so I wondered if they were looking out for me. Ashton looked worn down but was doing his best for his fans and Luke stuck by his side. Finally I decided to  grab one of their CD's off the shelf and went to the till to pay. After I had paid I turned around to find Ashton alone. I noticed that the shop had gone a little quiet and there weren't many people here anymore. This was the perfect opportunity for me. I found Ashton standing by the stacks of DVD's, his back facing me.

'Excuse me Ashton could I possibly get a photo with you.' I ask politely, watching him as he spun round to see where the voice had come from.
'Of course.' he replied, putting on his best smile. As his eyes landed on me, they nearly popped out of his head.
'Ebony, what are you doing here?' he said in shock.
'I wanted to surprise you.' I smiled, going to give him a hug.
'They told you not to come. They told me you'd been in contact and that they told you not to come.' he replied, moving back avoiding my hug, beginning to get a little upset.

'I'm sorry I wanted to make you smile, so I thought i'd come.' I explain, tears beginning to form in my eyes.
'So you took a nine hour flight from America to London. That's sweet but also rather crazy. We met each other for the first time two weeks ago. Yes we've spoken on the phone a few times, and arranged a date, but we've only met once.' he says annoyed.
'I know, but you mean so much to me. I just want to make you smile.' I say hurriedly.
'I know I said I'd take you on a date, but I don't think I can do this.' he says tearfully, before walking off. I watched as Luke and Calum follow him having watched what happened. I stood there shocked as Michael comes over to me.

'We told you not to come.' he states.
'I know I just wanted to make him smile.' I explain, the tears threatening to fall.
'This is just too much for him Ebony. He has a lot on his plate. He isn't ready to rush into anything. Listen keep this to yourself, but meet me in at this hotel bar in an hour. I will try and make sure Ashton is with me.' he says handing me a piece of paper with an address on. I nod and he walks off.
