It's that time of my life again, moving house. Let me tell you, moving houses around 8 times in one life is very exausting. My mother always says the same thing when we move aswell, ''New town, new you.'' Thing is I never change. I am always the new girl with no friends. My mom always says, ''It's going to be different this time, you're going to make friends!'' No I am not. I don't even know how to interact with other humans who aren't my parents anymore.

The thing is, this time it is official. We aren't moving after this and I did make sure of this. The only reason we have moved so many times is because of my mom's job and now she has talked her boss into letting her not move places again. I must admit, at first traveling around the world was great, but then it hit me. I have never had a true friend, let alone best friend. God help me out this time and make me have some friends.

''Here we are sweetpea. In Hannah Montana.'' That is one of my mom's ''real funny'' jokes. My mom does try very hard to amuse me, but fails each time. I really don't know why she hasn't given up on making me laugh cause it is never going to happen.

''Haha very funny, pick your nose and make it runny. One is green you can scream. One is blue you should poo, one is red go to bed.'' My annoying little brother, Johnny starts singing. To think we made that song up together. What happened to us two being like best friends? Oh yeah our parents divorce split us up.

Yes my parents divorced when I was twelve and Johnny was eight causing me to go with my mother and live life with her and my brother to live with my father. Seeing as my mom was the rich one with a amazing job and my dad wasn't the richest of people, but still had a job, made me and Johnny much more different. I'm not posh posh and I'm not non posh posh. I guess I'm in the middle, posh, but not posh. It is the time of the year where Johnny comes over for a week and he has surprisingly chose the week we move inand are getting settled into our new home. My dad also lives in this town surprisingly so now I can see my dad more often.

Anyways I have decided to ditch my brother and mother to go upstairs and unpack in peace and quiet, just how I like it. I begin to unpack my stuff and in a couple of hours my room looks neat and tidy. Finally I have completed my room and given it a new feel compared to my old room. 3 of my walls are cream and the other is a dark pinky purpley colour. I have hung a banner just above my bed which has my name written on it. I have all my clothes in my drawers are walk in wardrobe. I have my desk sorted and everything where it needs to be. It looks like the room I have been dying to create since I was a little girl, it is perfect!

''Lacey! Dinner is served!'' I hear my mother call up the stairs. ''And put something nice on, we have visitors!'' Wait...WHAT?! We have visitors? I look like a homeless person. I have no make up on, I'm also wearing a baggy sweater and sweatpants. God I am going to have to get changed quick.

''Okay mom! Be down in ten minutes!'' I begin by picking out a sea blue dress and some heels. I put the dress on and then move onto my hair. I let my hair loose from my ponytail and then examine it, it's curled from yesterday so I don't have to do much to it, that makes me have seven more minutes left to perfect my make-up. I quickly put on natural skin coloured eyeshadow, mascara and lipgloss. As I put my heels on I check the time. One minute left to scrambe downstairs. I quickly look in the mirror to see how I look. I actually look alright for a quick makeover.

I walk into the dining room to see who our guests are and I have no idea who they could be. I sit down next to a blonde girl who looks around my age. ''Hi there! I'm Lindsey, it's nice to meet you.'' I turn to look at this Lindsey girl as she talks so sweetly and smiles so innocently. She seems to be one of the high school popular bitches, time to become her friend.
