Tres

I woke up in my bedroom and wondered how I got here. The last thing I remember was talking to Lindsey and after that blurr. Hmph, I wonder what happened. I glance over at my alarm clock and realise it says 10:00. God it's 10 already, why didn't anyone wake me up?!

I begin to raise my body from my lying down pose, but as I do so my head begins to hurt and I feel like I weigh a ton. Is this what a hangover feels like? I never imagined this. I lie back down and sigh loudly to myself. I want to do something today and not just sit at home like a caveman.

I reach for my phone and then see I have a text from Lindsey.

Last night was so good babe! Wanna meet at the coffee house later, everyone's going except Chloe, she says she needs to 'do stuff' Doesn't that sound idiotic, anyways you better come! xx

Yes, Chloe's not going, but I don't think I will be able to either, my head feels like it has been stabbed over a hundred times. It's not as if my head will just magically stop hurting if I go to the coffee house. Well it's worth a try and Chloe won't be there so all should be alright, right?

Sure, what time? And how lame of Chloe to just ditch us like that, ah well! xx

I wait for the reply and instantly get one, well at least she's not a slow replier.

We were saying about 1, is that alright? xx

That sounds great, see you there! xx

I click the send button and then turn my phone off and put it on my bedside table. I hear someone coming up the stairs, who could it be? I hear them stop outside my room and then two light knocks knock on my door. ''Come in.'' I mumble and then my door swings open to reveal a male figure standing there. ''Lucas? What are you doing here?'' I get up from my lying down position even though it hurts my head like hell. It's better him not knowing about my hangover.

''Just thought I'd see how you was doing since last night.'' He smiled at me and then welcomed himself into my room and sat down on the couch just by the door. ''I brought you some food.'' He gets a sandwich in a packet and a packet of cookies from the supermarket bag he has in his hand.

''You didn't have to you know, I'm not even hungry anyways.'' I half smile at him and then look at the food. Usually when I see food my stomach will rumble like hell, I'm always hungry it's unbelievable. This time though my tummy isn't rumbling, woah that's a surprise.

''That's what a hangover does to you, you think you're not hungry but if you eat it makes you one hundred times better.'' Wait how did he know I had a hangover? Did he take me home? Oh my god, he did! I must have been a right state.

He grins at me and then gets up from his seat and patrols over to me. He takes the food from his hands and forces them into mine, ''Eat.'' I breathe out heavily and then open the sandwich packet. I take a bite into it and instantly feel sick.

''I feel like I'm gonna hurl.'' I feel like my face has lost colour and my stomach feels like it is gonna jump right up into my throat. Lucas sits on the edge of my bed which makes it slope down because of his weight.

''Just eat some more, it will make you feel better.'' I sigh at his comment and hope he's right. I eat all my sandwich and two of the big cookies. He was right, I do feel much better after eating it, but while I was eating, well that's a different story.

''Are you going to the coffee house later?'' I nod and then he smiles a breathtaking smile, ''Good, you better start getting ready now, then. How about I pick you up and take you there.''
