Catorce

It's been a day since the auditions and do you know what that means? Well it means that the results come out today on a little sheet on the notice board and to be honest it would be a miracle if I was on there. If I am on there then Lindsey and Libby did not have their eyes open while watching my routine because I honestly did no tricks except a cartwheel, well done Lacey star material right there. I think I'm going all the way to championships and I'm going to get a scholarship to all the cheerleading colleges out there.

I guess I have to get ready to make sure I'm not late for school as if I am late then I will miss the results and I do not want that happen now do I? That would just be so TRAGIC if I did get a late. Also I would get a detention so maybe I don't actually want to be late for school as it is, but most of the reason I don't want to be late is obviously the results. Need to grab them quick like a sale at the mall.

I get up from my bed and begin the tired treck to my wardrobe. Honestly I can't be bothered for school today, usually I'm a little bit happier, but the embarrassment of yesterday is just getting too much into my head.

Relax. Lacey relax. I guess it's time to put some relaxing music on that can actually calm me down. I open Youtube up on my phone and type in 'Relaxing music' and voila, there are hundreds of options to pick from here. I decide to click on the first one and it's a very soothing piano piece. I have no idea when I started listening to this kind of music.

Now to get into my outfit of the day. I begin to flick through all my clothes and pick out a black cropped tank top with bra straps, ripped navy blue jeans and a cream green coloured vest. I guess this outfit choice isn't exactly everyones cup of tea, espiecally everyone in this area of land. They all like the normal clothes like leggings and bland tops. Nothing too adventurous.

I match my outfit with sunglasses and a necklace with a little moon on it. I look at my hair and seeing as I didn't shower last night it looks a bit gross so it's time for me to push it up above my head and make it look messy and today I am going with the bun look. I always thought that messy was better anyway and that is why my room is the most untidy place in the universe.

I run down the stairs with my backpack on and go into the kitchen. ''Good morning darling.'' My mom startles me as she looks up from the pancake that she is cooking in the pan. ''Did I scare my little girl?''

''Shut up.'' I say as I sit down in front of the kitchen bar, throwing my backpack on the floor beside me, ''Is that pancakes I see you making? It smells delicous.'' My mom definitely makes the best pancakes in the world, it's like a secret family tradition that we can all make the best pancakes, but I still haven't mastered the recipe. I am hoping to, but after school.

''Of course, we're having waffles tomorrow though. What an exciting menu you have, aye?'' I roll my eyes, ''You're looking nice today, I like your hair.'' This probably means that everyone else is going to hate my hair and think I look gross. Whenever she says something like this it always ends up everyone hating it. It's happened many a times before at my old schools.

''Thanks mom.'' I say and just nod. I then see a pancake that is officially made and I feel like I am about to drool every where. ''Where is the golden syrup?''

''In the cupboard, it's normal spot you ninny.'' I walk over to the cupboard and see the golden syrup sitting there waiting for me to grab it and eat it all at once. Honestly golden syrup is much more delicous than maple syrup.

My mom puts the pancake on a plate and then hands it over to me. ''Merci.'' I begin to layer the pancake with sugar and golden syrup. I also add a tint of lemon. Time to dig in! I pick up my fork and begin to shovel the pancake into my mouth.
