Once
I'm at school and let me tell you me and Max have been the subject of many peoples conversations. When ever I walk past someone who is talking about it they try and look all innocent and try and change the subject as if they weren't talking about it in the first place, nice try peasents.
It was ever since that day of the talent show, you know when we kissed and a handful of people saw. Well the thing is when people see stuff like that they do the little cycle you know the one where a friend tells a friend who tells a friend who then tells a friend. That;s exactly what happened and I'm pretty sure everyone has heard about it. Maybe if me and Max told people on our own we wouldn't be so frustrated, but Lindsey, Libby and Hannah all heard from someone elses mouth. The handful of people who saw even started to spread it the day that it happened. I would have thought they would have left it for maybe a week or so. Obviously not.
I can't dwell on what has happened in the past though otherwise I will be physically stuck in the past and that boys and girls is never a good thing, AT ALL. Live in the present I tell you, yes I am now a psychiatrist and a pretty good one by just saying the most corny and obvious things in the world.
But moving on I'm stuck in the most boring and long lesson in the possible universe of lessons, Science. I love all other subjects except Science, mainly because half the time I don't understand a thing that my teacher is going on about. She talks and writes so fast and has no patience. I swear all Science teachers are the same though, they write a paragraph on the board and then expect you to write it in a minute. How am I supposed to do that?
We're learning about atoms at the moment, so it's not too hard, but I swear this lesson has been going on for eternity and I need to get out of here before I too become a boring person. It can rub onto you, I swear. I once met this really boring person called Percy who loved Science and literally devoted his life to Science and let me tell you all he talked about was SCIENCE and all his things he had were based off of SCIENCE. He didn't even watch proper TV shows like Big Brother or Eastenders. He only watched Science docummentaries and he only knew the words to the Doctor Who theme tune, which doesn't even have any words! Yes Doctor Who is not real, but it's still classified as a Sci-fy so it's still Sciencey.
I'm not saying I have anything against Doctor Who, all I'm saying is couldn't he just have a bit more of a personality. A more variety of hobbies and interests, no. That's not how Percy works. He's like a model, pretty, but boring. For him it's intelligent, but boring. Basically the same thing.
I've been sitting in this class for about half an hour just staring at Miss Jamie talk about Sciencey things that I don't even care about. She never asks me questions because I do well on my homework and the class work, trust me, doing well in your book is all that matters. Also tests, if you don't do well in tests then you're gonna get picked on. If you feel like a nerd answering questions, don't. It's not nerdy it's alright to answer questions, the teacher will like you more. This is going to turn into a school survival guide and my name is not Ned.
Enough babbling on, I'm sat next to someone who I wish I wasn't. You can totally guess who that is...Lucas! Urgh it's so awkward and he just keeps talking to himself. He's so cocky and annoying and URGH! Someone just stab him for me already before I do it myself and end up in jail!
*Ding ding ding*
Finally, the bell has gone off, thank god. If it hadn't then I think I would have died right there and then from so many awkward turtles. I'm trying my hardest at being civil with everyone, but it maybe just sometimes is impossible.
I quickly pack my things up and I close my bag as quickly as I can. ''Trying to escape my evil bubble, are we little Lacey?'' Lucas looks to the side towards me with the most cocky grin on his face. He knows how to get my blood boiling.
