We were still kissing right at this moment, my stomach was going crazy. How could this happen? It's like a miracle. Over all the places he and I could have ended back up together is here in Montana, to be honest I still thought he was in Alabama. How the tables turn so quickly. So many thoughts were running across my mind, why is he kissing me? Did he know from the start that I knew him a while ago? Did he fancy me? Why is my stomach exploding like this? Somebody please answer these questions!
Our lips seperate at this moment and our noses are touching, we look into eachothers eyes and I can guess he can see the confusion all over my face. ''Ask me any question you like Sunshine, I'll be willing to answer.'' He gives me a grin and I just shake my head. It's like he can read my mind.
''Did you fancy me?'' I blurt out the question I really wanted to know the answer to first. This question probably makes me sound desperate and it's already embarrassing enough that he knows I fancied him from a young age, is it even possible having feelings for a guy at that age, well for me it was.
''I guess, it's hard to tell when you're young. When you left I got extreamely sad and lonely even though everyone at school still loved me, I missed you so much. I felt like I couldn't be the same old me I was when I was with you.'' He gives a slight smile and my face just lights up like a child who has just gone into a sweet shop and can get anything for free, still I would smile loads at that at my age too...
''Did you know I was the girl you used to know?'' I wipe the smile off my face and try and act all cool, I really doubt it is working though, excitement is just bubbling from within me right now.
''Well I had my suspicions, you had the same name and everything and you had the same eyes and stuff, but I didn't really think too much of it until we actually started to talk and we felt completely natural talking with eachother.'' He smiles at me and I smile back at him. I think that's enough questions asked otherwise we'd be here all night.
''Should we head back in? I think everyone will be wondering where we are.'' I look up at him and he looks back at me, staring me in the eyes like he always does.
''Yeah lets.'' He holds his hand out and I look down at it confused, ''Hold my hand you idiot.'' He laughs at me and I begin to turn red in the face, I quickly take his hand and our fingers intertwine almost too naturally.
As we turned round the corner as we were heading back into the hall were the everyone was having a good laugh and dancing we bumped into someone who we really didn't want to see. Guess who that was folks? You guessed it, Chloe. I don't know if she heard anything, but what was she doing out here.
''Oh hello there miss popular girl.'' Chloe says raising a brow at me. She looks as if she was crying, her eyes are all puffy and red. ''Can you please stop staring at me, you lesbian.'' She then looks back down at the floor, she's trying to act tough, but she's as weak as an ant.
''What's up Chloe.'' I say and let go of Max's hand. ''Go in, I'll be back in soon.'' I whisper into his ear. He nods and goes into the school, I sit down next to Chloe and she still has her face turned down away from me to see any of her face.
''Why do you care? It's not like I've been nice to you at all, at any point. I was a bitch and I've messed everything up.'' She looks up to me, tears streaming down her face.
''Look even if you're a bitch to me, I'll still be nice to you, that's just the kind of person I am.'' I look towards her and smile slightly, ''Just tell me what's wrong, I'll try and help as much as I can.'' More tears stream down her face and she smiles slightly at me.
''Why are you so nice?'' She mutters to herself, ''I've messed everything up, I've only just realised it. If I wasn't so absorbed in Lucas Gilbert land then I wouldn't have been so mean to you. I can't turn back and now I have no true friends. I'm lonely as hell and Lucas wasn't even that nice, why does this always happen to me?'' She flips her hand up in frustration and more tears come streaming down her face.
