Doce
I guess you could say I have totally been practicing for the cheerleading tryouts all week, I totally wanted to join the cheerleading squad in the first place, like totally. In reality and not my imaginary world inside my brain, I have been sitting at home eating ice cream all day. Do they really expect me to change my ways and actually become a try hard for cheerleading? Well if they do then they are completely wrong. I am not going to try hard for something I have no desire or hopes for.
Well it's time for the lovely day of tryouts. The day where I have to go in because my mom won't let me stay home. I'm really going to embarrass myself today and I bet what will happen is Lindsey will accept me into the team because I'm her friend. Guess what that would mean? I have to perform in front of boys, girls, women, men, babies, toddlers EVERY SINGLE WEEK. I won't be able to survive that much physical work. Someone please help me out of this one before I die of embarrassment.
I guess I'm going to have to do what a girls gotta do, face their biggest fears with their head held high. Cheesy I know, but I have got to, if I don't then I will be even more embarrassed then what I am about to do, but still if anyone is out there willing to help me, I'd let you do that any day.
Right now I'm doing my hair for the day, I have to make sure it is in a tight pony tail and that at the ends it is curled. Apparently it is some cheerleading rule, fantastic they actually have rules. I guess I'm going to have to tell you them all seeing as they are so ridiculous. Here we go:
1- Have your hair in a tight ponytail which is curled right to the tip to look pretty and perfect.
2- Make sure you paint two stripes onto your face of the school colours. If you don't know what our schools colours are then you need help everyone should know. (Btw they are red and green, basically christmas).
3- At all times you must be wearing the cheerleading uniform which you can buy on the school website or at the school office.
4- You have to be flexible and have at least a few years of dancing experience, I mean like it is required literally.
5- You have to know the school cheer, obviously, gosh.
Yes and those were made by Lindsey in those exact words. That is what is published on the perfectly laminated piece of paper which hangs on the wall in the gym. Yes it is pretty ridiculous that she didn't get rid of the slang, but these rules were made two years ago apparently and Lindsey was still the captain of the squad, impressive, right?
Hey look my hair actually looks pretty alright...maybe not. I hate having my hair up I just feel awkward and naked when I'm actually not. Everyone tries to make me feel better by saying, 'Omg your hair looks so gorgeous today, teach me your ways!' or 'Oh me gee! Gurlll have you done something different to your hair today. It looks so lush! I wish I had your hair it's so gorg.' Please admit I look horrible, it's alright I'm a strong person I can take the truth pretty well, okay.
Well anyways it's the day of the tryouts so I have to be a little bit more positive. I mean there is more worrying things I could be worrying about, my hair and how my hair looks is not that important. What is important then? Many of you may be asking that question right now, well obviously making a fool out of myself. I seriously do not want to do that and yet I know I will, but it won't hurt a girl to dream. So now I will face my biggest fear with my head held high and you watch me, I'm gonna get onto that team and be the best, obviously...

I get into my outfit for the day. After school is the tryouts which is good because I won't be sweaty all day, that has happened before and it is disgusting. I decide to wear some tights with black shorts over the top, a off-white colour top with a red cardigan over the top, a navy blue scarf and my black combat boots. It's getting into that cold season so that means that I have to start layering up. I just hope it won't rain today. My hair is in the cheerleading ponytail for later so that I don't have to worry too much about my hair.
