Chapter 6 #bffw/dabro

Sam's P.O.V.

When I was finished getting ready I was wearing a plain navy blue cami with a faded, ripped jean jacket over it. I was also wearing white ripped jeans and my navy blue converse. I had my hair in loose waves down my back with my bangs pinned back. I had in my regular makeup and was ready. I grabbed a couple rings and a necklace to complete the look and headed outside to wait with the guys for Princess Ashley.

"Hey guys" I said greeting them.

"Hey where's Ashley?" Hayes said eagerly.

"A little excited there. Don't get any ideas." I said messing around. "And she's just finishing, she'll be done soon"

"Please he wouldn't even know what to do with a girl if he got her alone." Nash made a snarky remark to his brother.

Hayes looked down embarrassed. "It's true. I wouldn't even know to put my arms around her last night if I hadn't seen you and Cam all cuddled up together." Hayes admitted clearly disappointed with himself.

"Hey that's not true. I didn't even have the guts to hold Sam's hand last night when I walked her home. You probably know more than you think." Cam said encouraging Hayes. That's so cute. How he compliments Hayes to raise his spirits and give him confidence.

"Yeah. Last night even when I was watching everyone mess around I saw something between you two. You make her so happy, so don't lose hope now." I tried convincing him.

"Do ya think she really likes me?" he asked hopefully. You can see it in his eyes how he really cared about her.

"Of course. She's crazy about you. You just have to make your move and don't screw up." I said helpfully. I felt awkward giving him advice to get with my best friend but whatever. She deserves a boyfriend.

We waited a little while longer until Ashley appeared ready to go. We walked across the street together talking about what we all plan on doing first. We all agreed that we should play laser tag together before we separate to do what we want.

We were next in line and were trying to figure out teams. We finally decided to nominate team captains to chose the teams. The captains were Cam and Taylor. Shockingly, Cam picked me first. I thought for sure I'd be one of the last picks being a girl and all. Our team was me,Cam,Nash,Matt,Shawn and Jack G. Everyone else was on Taylor's team.

When the game was over our team came out victorious. We defeated the opposing team by far. That's when everyone separated to go off on their own. Cam came up to me, hugging me from behind, scaring the shit out of me. "Wanna go over to the boardwalk? We can go on some rides." He said softly so only I can hear.

"I don't know. I'm not really one for rides." I admitted shyly. I was so scared of roller-coasters and these were rides but I wasn't that big of a fan.

"Please I'll be there the whole time. To protect you. I promise you'll have fun." He whispered.

"Fine, but after that we are going to go play games." I said bargaining with him.

"Deal. I'll be sure to win you a big stuffed animal." He said. I believed it too. It would probably crush his ego if he didn't win anything for me. We went on just about every ride there and Cam looked like he was about to throw up. He needed to take a break for a while.

We went and sat on a bench next to a fountain in the middle of the place. "You know, when you got all excited to ride all the rides, I thought you'd be able to handle it." I said teasing him as he rested holding his stomach.

"I thought I'd be ok.. I guess my stomachs not as strong as it used to be. We waited there for a while. Cam's head resting on my lap as he laid across the park bench. After about a half hour or so we went and played some games. We played a ton, Cam just really sucked at them. He failed at like every single one. That's when we got to the last one there. It was a basketball one and he was actually really good. He won me a huge stuffed bunny and I loved it.

When it was time for the show we tried finding everyone. We probably should've made a meeting point. We found all the guys no problem. We looked everywhere for Hayes and Ashley but just couldn't find them and they wouldn't answer their phones. That's when we saw them on the Ferris wheel. They were laughing and really having a good time. That's when they stopped at the top. We couldn't see much but what I did see shocked me.

He leaned in and kissed her! it was just a short and small kiss but you can tell it meant a lot. That bitch had her first kiss before me! I wasn't really mad just kinda upset because I haven't ever kissed anyone and that's pretty embarrassing. But I was really happy for her. Hayes was a really great guy and I knew he'd treat her right and I knew she was crazy about him. I just wanted to meet my prince too.

Kinda a suckish chapter but yay they kissed. And it's kinda short but I'll be sure to do better on the next update.
