Sam's P.O.V.
The next day was practically torture. I got up at 6 and found myself doing the routine I was dreading to get back into. It's insane how one second your fine with your life and the next it gets flipped upside down. When I met the guys, I never thought I would think of what was my normal life, as boring. I just wanted to be back with the guys.
All day in school, all I could here were my teachers telling me to put my phone away. Sure I was used to this, but I never actually experienced it this often. I was just so bored. I texted Cam for a while but not like the entire day, going against what people had been accusing me of doing.
The people acted so different towards me. I was always that invisible girl that stuck to her group of friends and sat in the back of the classroom. I joined sports teams, yeah, but that was just because I liked the sport, not the people on it.
My life was pretty much like at a stand still at that point. Everything just felt longer. I guess time really does go fast when your having fun.
The next week couldn't come any faster. I went online and bought plane tickets to California on Tuesday. Ashley decided she'd tag along after all. She wasn't sure because she thought she'd be a third wheel, but I talked her into going. I had like no schoolwork to make up from Monday and the next few days were super easy. It was just kind of a slow week I guess and it was only Wednesday.
I walked into homeroom, like always, but now instead of all the kids in the class being spread out and away from each other, they all shifted closer to my regular seat. Unlike usual I was greeted by my all of a sudden friendly classmates. "Hey Sam, how was your day so far? Do you want to sit with me at lunch?" one girl came up to me and said.
"Uh thanks but I'm already sitting with some people." I responded ticked off. People actually had the nerve to want to treat me differently because I was friends with the guys and 'dating' Cameron Dallas. It was bad enough they drooled over how hot he was on a regular basis, now they wanted to get the chance to tell me about it like I don't already know.
Homeroom ended and I rapidly made my way into geometry class. It was just as bad there too. It was weird. There were so many people around that I never had before but I've never felt more alone. No one here actually cared. Even guys came up to me in the hallway on my way to this class to ask me out.
I was actually glad when the bell rang and the teacher told us to take our seats. We took notes the rest of the period but that was all. Next I went to choir class and the teacher took me outside to talk.
"Do you care to explain why everyone is so attached to you today? everyone is disrupting our rehearsal because they want to ask you questions and I'd like to know why" he asked impatiently.
"I know these famous YouTubers and now everyone wants me to tell them about what their like and so on." I explained not going into detail.
"Well I think it would be best for the class if you waited in the office for the remainder of the class" he ordered.
"Ok." I went to the office and explained to the secretary. She had to call him because she thought I was lying and I got sent here because I was in trouble. He proceeded to tell her that I was not in trouble but it'd be better if I can wait in the office the rest of the period. She told me I can stay and I took out my phone and texted Cam.
S: Hey I got sent to the main office 😁
C: Ooo u got in trouble. Bad girl 🙊
S: no my teacher said I was just being a disturbance. I wanna just go home. 😢
C: Call your mom. Something tells me she'll let u come home 😝
I didn't text him back. I called my mom and after 3 rings she answered,"Hello Sammers." She said using an old nickname she frequently called me.
"Hey can you come pick me up. I'm having a really bad day" I said. I can even hear the depression on my own voice.
"Be right there" she said and hung up. That was it? it was so simple. She didn't even sound upset or try to argue with me.
She came in and signed me out of school and took me home. She was acting weird. We were at a red light and she just started laughing. I looked at her strangely and she started to explain her humor after she settled down. "I have a surprise for you" she began. "I've decided to let you go on spring break early! you leave tonight. I called the airport and they said they had enough space on the plane and that I can refund our other tickets and go early!" She said excited. I sat there shocked. But all I could think was why?
~~~~~A/N~~~~~~
This is a really bad chapter. The keyboard on my phone is just being really annoying and I don't know why. But yay she gets to go to Cali early!!!
