Chapter 2 #vinetime

~ Morning of Magcon ~

Ashley and 1 were jumping off the walls with excitement. We woke up at 10 which was pretty late for normal people but for me it felt like 6 AM. But I was so hyper that morning I didn't even care. The minute I woke from my dreams clouded with the boys I would be meeting later that day I started getting ready. Ashley still hadn't gotten her lazy ass out of bed so I decided to take a shower.

After I finished, I blow dried my hair and was about to straighten it when I decided on a simple fishtail braid instead. I walked out of the bathroom in sweats and a tee shirt desperately looking for something cute to wear. By now it was about 10:45 and Ashley was just waking up.

"Finally you've been asleep for ages!" I said cheerfully. Clearly I was being an annoyance in her sleepy state as she mumbled profanities under her breathe to me. She's not exactly what you'd call a morning person but then again, neither am I. Although I wouldn't exactly call 11 o'clock morning but whatever.

"Why are you already ready we don't have to be there for another 4 hours?" Ashley asked after she got out from her shower. In a much better mood might I add.

"Well I figured we'd go and wander around the hotel looking for the mysterious person knocking on our door late last night." I said.

"Ok just lemme get dressed into something better than this so I don't go looking like a hobo." Ashley replied.

"Same here" I said nonchalantly as Ashley was entering the bathroom to change. I still had to pick out my outfit. I wanted it to be casual but not looking like I just woke up and not too dressy. I'm not exactly one for dresses or skirts. And oddly I'd much rather wear a dress over a skirt. I don't know why it's just much more comfortable in my opinion.

I decide to wear my Cameron Dallas blue and white shirt with cute ripped jeans and my black vans. I thought it wasn't enough to be considered fancy by any standard but I wouldn't be confused for a hobo anymore. After I had just finished putting on my sneakers Ashley walked out with her black and purple magcon sweater on with jeans and black flats. "Ready" she asked me anxious to go explore the hotel.

"Yeah hold on I just gotta put on some makeup" I said as I was rushing to the bathroom. I hated having to wear makeup but I could not stand the humiliation of going out with pimples on my face. That's pretty much all I wore. Everyday I just put on some light concealer and left. Sometimes if I'm feeling up to it I'll put on eyeliner and mascara but that's rare.

"Why would you ruin your face by smothering it with makeup" Ashley asked criticizing me for my choice to wear makeup. "its not a natural look"

"I know that but I try to make it as natural as humanly possible and you have no idea how much I would kill just to be able to go out without makeup on and not being so insecure." I responded defensively. I was wildly insecure but I couldn't help it. I just never felt that great about being myself.

Then we were off. Ashley to wander helplessly looking for any clue of where the Magcon family might be right now. I was more concerned about the mysterious knock that disrupted the peace late last night with no body there. Sure it was kind of lame but I mean I was curious and I wanted to know why the strange event occurred and who did it.

We were walking aimlessly through the hallways. Lost. We ended up like 5 floors above ours and we had no clue how to go back. That's when we saw the maid we saw last night. We asked for directions back to our room and then it hit me. I forgot to tell my mom we were leaving. She must've still been asleep when we left and I forgot she was in the room next door. We quickly ran to my hotel room following the directions we had just received. When we got back into the hotel room all hell broke loose.

"Where were you!?!? I was worried sick!!! I woke up about 5 minutes ago and you were just gone. You can't just go wandering off whenever you feel like it!!!!!" my mom was beyond pissed at us.

"Mom I am so sorry. I totally forgot to tell u we were going for a walk. But we stayed in the hotel and we really weren't gone long and I know your ticked off but I am really really sorry" I could not be on my mothers bad side. She can tend to be a little crazy and when she's mad she can make very abundant punishments. Like I don't know, taking us back to our crap town in Connecticut before we get to go to Magcon.

Luckily my pleading for mercy had worked and she let us off with a warning. She told us it was bad enough we'd be in a room for hours with screaming girls and 9 horny teenage guys they were obsessed with. I couldn't exactly try to deny that because it was true so I lightly shook my head and Ashley and I went back to the room we shared.

"Ok it's 1 now what do u wanna do?" Ashley asked. I didn't really know what to do so I just said the first thing to pop into my head.

"Idk maybe we should just chill here for an hour and go down there at 2 instead of 3 who knows maybe they will be down there and we'll get an extra hour to hang with them." I said.

"That's actually a great idea Sam!" Ashley reassured. I personally didn't think it was much of an idea at all but I guess it was smart enough. For the next hour we sat in our room. Ashley was watching Twisted reruns on ABCFamily so I was just checking my social media sites. I checked instagram first and was unimpressed by all the selfie postings. Next I checked twitter and it was basically people being bored or the guys saying how excited they were for tonight. Then I went on vine to see if any of the magcon family had posted any new funny videos. All of the had the same thing which consisted of them saying " hurry and go to my channel to see our hilarious new video" it wasn't any of their days to upload a new video so I was curious. I went to Cam's YouTube because he's the only one that put the link in his vine and waited for it to load for a bit when it was finally done loading I recognized that it was 15 minutes long which is really long compared to their usually weekly videos. When I pressed play I could not believe my eyes....
