Chapter 3 #determinded

Ok so i know that Magcon NJ is at iPlay America but I started writing this before the location was announced so I'm gonna try to fix any mistakes I made but might not find them all.

I could not believe what I was seeing. I was just in this kind of trance replaying the video over and over. I was so dazed and confused and just stunned that I hadn't noticed Ashley trying to get my attention. "What the hell are you doing?!?!" She yelled in my ear while pushing me over. That's when I snapped out of it.

"Look at this!" I exclaimed motioning Ashley to watch the video on my phone. Her reaction was fairly similar to mine just with a lot more excitement.

"I can't believe this! Do you know what this means! This means that they will know who we are later on today and are looking forward to meeting us in person!" Ashley explained her excitement when she noticed my confused look. The video consisted of Cam, Nash, Hayes, and Matt knocking on random doors in this very hotel, which we now know for sure that it is theirs as well. That's when they played the last clip. When the door opened Ashley walked outside, me following behind her. They were pranking us for a video! I felt a total disturbance of my privacy. I'm down to make videos and everything, but I didn't even know I was secretly being filmed and then they posted it online! I just didn't know which I was feeling: glad that we had got them to notice us without even trying, furious because they invaded my privacy, or embarrassed because I was so stupid to have had that happen to me. Right then I decided I had to find them. I was going to confront them for invading my privacy and embarrassing me in front of absolutely everybody.

I made sure to tell my mother that we would be walking around the hotel for a bit and then heading across the street to iPlay America. I didn't exactly know where to look but I did know a general area. They would be somewhere in these 2 places unless there was a Taco Bell nearby. We walked each hallway looking for them. Ashley skipping with excitement clearly not mad about the prank. I wouldn't care if they had asked my permission to post it online but no they didn't and now everyone will think of me as a fool.

We looked on each floor and nothing can be found. Not even a single clue. The hotel was silent and frankly quite boring so we went to search through the huge indoor amusement park across the street. They can be anywhere in here so we began our search at the boardwalk. I really wish I could have found some amusement here since I was dying to come when I found out it was here. Ashley and I planned to come on Sunday so we'd have the whole day to waste.

"Oh my god! Sam can we please go on this ride?" Ashley pleaded.

"Are you crazy! We have to find them!" I sounded crazy, possessed even, but I couldn't help it. I have been looking forward to meeting them for months and then an hour before I get the chance I find out they are complete assholes.

When we were done looking at the boardwalk we went to the laser tag area. And that's when I spotted him. Wearing his tie dye shirt and bandana around his head how can you miss him? Taylor was standing a few feet ahead of us crowded by people. When he got out from being bombarded with questions like "can I have your autograph?" and "Can I get a picture with you?" we followed him. He lead us to a secret room. Ashley was squealing like a little girl on her birthday. I heard them all from down the hallway, laughing and joking, just like regular teenage boys. The door was just about to close and lock behind Taylor when I reached out and opened it stepping into the room. It was the control room. I guess they were granted access to be in here to get away from all the chaos and just relax. All their heads snapped up at the sight of me.

I didn't know what to say at first. There were so many eyes just watching me. I felt like I was under pressure and they'd get mad at me for disturbing their privacy in this little control room. That's when I realized I was here because they did that exact thing to me last night. "Are you crazy!" I exclaimed frustrated. "You assholes secretly film yourselves pranking me and then post it online. I was humiliated!" I really was. The comments were awful. People really can be rude.

"Oh guys this is the girl from the video!" Carter said recognizing me apparently.

"No shit, Carter" Matt replied jokingly. "So what are you here for, an apology? Because if that's what you want then I'll just say it: I'm so sorry we humiliated you" I was about to remark on how rude they all were until I heard someone else speak.

"Hey! Knock it off Matt! She has every right to be pissed at us. We did make her look like some basic white girl in that video and didn't even knock on their door to ask permission to post it online. They didn't even know we were taping them." Cameron explained to Matt defending me. That's when he turned to me and said," I really am sorry. We weren't exactly thinking straight last night I mean it was really late and it was really fucked up for us to put you through that" he apologized sincerely.

"Thank you. I'm sorry too. I kind of overreacted and I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have freaked out over some prank. I was just embarrassed. And I guess I decided to take out that frustration on you guys and I shouldn't have." I apologized too. While Cam was in the middle of his apology I came to my senses. They were just trying to play a prank. They didn't think it through enough to think about how I would react but it was still not as bad as I made it out to be.

That's when I noticed Ashley standing next to me. I don't think I've ever heard her this quiet. She was literally just staring at the guys. And I thought I might have seen some drool coming from the corner of her mouth. That's when I had enough and snapped in her face to wake her from her daydream. "Guys this is Ashley and I'm Sam." I introduced myself and Ashley.

"Well just in case you don't know us I'm Cameron but you can call me Cam, that's Nash over there, that guy over there that you followed here is Taylor, those two over there are the Jacks, that one is Carter, that's Aaron, that one over there is Shawn and the one who was a jerk to you is Matt." Cam explained to me pointing at each of the guys. "Oh and that's Hayes" he added pointing at Nash's younger brother.

Everyone started doing their own thing as soon as Nash walked over to us. "So are you guys coming to see us?" he asked curious.

"Yup. VIP tickets so we have like half an hour now." Ashley replied finally aware of her surroundings completely.

"That's awesome! You guys can chill here with us until then we can all walk down together" Nash insisted.

We agreed then went over to sit with the group. We just talked and really got to know each other some more. They were really kind and funny. Basically it was just Ashley and I telling them about ourselves though because we already knew about them. About 20 minutes later Aaron shouted over all of us chatting with one another that it's time to head out to go to the show.
