Chapter 11 #justintime

Cam's P.O.V.

I didn't know what was happening. One second she was falling and the next we were doing the unthinkable. I swore I would wait for the right girl before I kissed anyone but this just felt so right. I knew right then and there that Sam was the right one for me and I would do anything to stay with her.

We ended the short kiss in total silence. I opened my eyes to see her open hers and look me into the eyes and just smile. I smiled back and went back over to the vent to see everyone casually on their phones when a second ago they were freaking out over Sam falling. Then I got the notifications on my phone.

I guess they saw us kissing for the first time and decided to capture the moment and share it with everyone. I didn't know how everyone would react but I didn't care. I was happy and that's all that mattered right now.

We still had to get out of ikea without getting caught and there could only be minutes until the manager would walk through those doors. We clearly weren't leaving so we took a risk and hid. The rest of the group left to wait in the parking lot. Sam and I decided to hide under a bed all the way in the back of the store in a corner together. We sat in silence, until the store opened to the public in 2 hours. We checked our phones to make sure they were on silent and I guess I fell asleep after that.

Nash's P.O.V.

All I was feeling was the speed of my heartbeat. It hadn't slowed down since I let Sam fall when she jumped. We were waiting in the car for visiting hours to start at ikea but that wasn't for another 2 hours and I was starving. But I was not about to leave my best friends behind. Cam and I have been friends forever and although I just met Sam a few days ago, I knew we'd turn out to be best friends eventually. We were pretty close now just not like Cam and I were.

"I'm so hungry." I whined like every 5 seconds.

"We can go get food. But you keep refusing." Aaron fired at me.

"If they get out and we aren't there shit will go down so we can't just abandon them even if it is just for food." I reminded him that our friends were trapped inside ikea.

Just then a car pulled into the parking lot and what looked like the manager stepped out and went inside. I hoped they found a good place to hide because they're gonna need it.

There was only a half hour left until the store opened and they were still trapped inside. They probably fell asleep anyways but I mean that kiss might have been more intense that it looked if you know what I mean....

Just then I saw Cam running out of the store to the car with a tired Sam on his back. We quickly started the car. Cam jumped into the door Carter had opened for him and we drove off closing the door as we went. With the second car full of people behind us.

Ashley's P.O.V.

Hayes and I were just sitting in the back of the second car talking about what we were last night. We knew I'd be hard since we only had a day and a half left to spend together and it would probably would have to end, but I didn't want it to. But North Carolina is a pretty long way away from Connecticut and I wasn't really interested in long distance relationships.

"Ashley this is a really hard decision but I don't want to break up with you. As hard as long distance relationships can be, we should try before we just decide to end things completely." Hayes argued. He had a valid point but we wouldn't be able to see each other, maybe ever again. I didn't want to chance getting my hopes up for something that will never come.

"Ok fine. But if it doesn't work we'll have to end things." I agreed.

"You sound like you want to break up" Hayes mumbled.

"No. I really like you Hayes. It's just, we live so far away and we haven't even known each other for a week. People are going to think we're crazy." I tried reasoning with him but he just got madder.

"Who gives a shit what other people think Ashley. I want to be with you. I don't care if we are 2 inches away or across the world. I don't want to just give it up." He snapped.

Just as he said that I heard commotion in the next car and they sped off. Jack G sped after them obviously. They must've got out somehow and ran to the car.

Sam's P.O.V.

We were sound asleep when we heard the door open in the front of the store, the echo being an advantage. We peered under the bed together to see the manager checking to make sure everything was in order.

We watched and listened for anything the manager would do. He started restocking shelves and fluffing pillows and it was really boring. Then he started passionately singing wrecking ball and Cam and I failed to keep in our laughter. We ran out of the store as fast as we can. I got tired when we got to the doors and Cam flung me onto his back and sprinted to the car.

We saw Carter open the door for us and we leaped inside, speeding away as the other car followed. Thank god we didn't get caught was all I can think.
