Cam's P.O.V.

I should've kissed her. She was right there and I was crazy about her so why didn't I just kiss her. She all I ever thought about. I know it sounds crazy because I just met her but it just feels right. She's the girl I always dreamed of meeting, and she was right there, and I was too much of a baby to just lean in and kiss her.

That night I couldn't sleep at all it was about 1 in the morning and I still just couldn't sleep. I decided to check twitter and I saw that Sam had tweeted a picture of Ashley sleeping about 5 minutes ago. I refreshed the page to find a video of Ashley cursing at Sam for waking her up. I couldn't stop laughing. Throughout the video you can hear Sam giggling at her aggravated friend. I decided that since she wasn't getting any sleep and clearly neither was I, I would text her.

Hey are you still up? -Cam

Yeah. Can't sleep so I decided to mess with Ashley out of boredom 😜 ~Sam

Well do u wanna meet up. We can go get ice cream. 😄-Cam

Sure imma meet you in 5 minutes at ur room~Sam

Btw I will not be dressed to impress tonight lol~Sam

Sam's P.O.V.

Was this a date? No he just wanted to hang out with me because he was bored and didn't want to bother any of the guys.

I went up to his room and texted him to notify him that I was outside. A second later he came out to join me. "You could've knocked on the door you know" He said flashing that perfect smile if his.

"I didn't want to wake any of the other guys. I mean I kinda guessed you were only asking to spend time with me because they were all asleep." I said looking at my shoes.

"Are you kidding? I would call to hang out with you no matter what." He was so sweet. We walked down the hallway and to the elevators. When we go outside he grabbed my hand and lead me to this little ice cream store around the corner open 24 hours.

When we got inside I thought he would let go of my hand, but he didn't, he was still holding on. Not as tightly as before because we practically sprinted to the shop with him dragging me but still. Just then he intwined our fingers together and looked down at me as if asking for my permission. I smiled at him for reassurance.

We ordered our ice creams after that. I got vanilla and he got chocolate. After we were done with about half we switched and at the opposite flavor until we finished.

We walked back to the hotel in silence. It was so peaceful out here I didn't want to leave just yet. Like he was reading my mind he started to speak,"Hey I'm not really that tired just yet, wanna watch some movies on netflix?"

"Yeah sure. I'm not very tired either. Just no more scary movies for the night ok?" I said joking towards the end.

"Of course. Wouldn't want you to get a nightmare because of some movie" he teased back. It was nice being able to just joke around with someone. I grew up with my brothers constantly teasing me and calling me names. And now I was actually grateful that Cam wasn't afraid to mess around with me. It kind of reminded me of my childhood in some ways.

When we got back to his room we hopped on his bed. He took out his laptop and earbuds. He sat next to me with our legs touching. I thought about moving away when I decided not to. He looked down at me again and for a while we just stared into each other's eyes. That is until he looked away and we started looking for a movie to watch.
