Chapter 12 #golfing

Sam's P.O.V.

We drove back to the hotel with our hearts beating out if our chests. I was curled up in Cam's chest as he gently brushed his hand through my tangled hair to calm me down. I could feel his heartbeat through his shirt and it was racing but there was no other way to tell how exhausted he really was.

"Are you ok?" he whispered in my ear every once in a while. I would just nod slowly. I still kept trembling in his embrace waiting to just go back to the hotel. Don't get me wrong, this was by far the best night of my life.

When we got back to the hotel, Ashley and I went to our room to sleep. The guys all doing the same. In 3 hours it will be 3 o'clock and Cam and Hayes were going to come down here to spend time with us for we were leaving the morning after tomorrow. As soon as Ashley and I got into our room, we threw our bags down and crashed onto our beds in a deep sleep.

In what felt like 2 seconds, I heard banging on the door and woke to go check it. It was Cam and Hayes. I guess it wasn't 2 seconds after all. They were dressed pretty nice compared to how we left them and I was curious.

Cam caught onto my confused gaze and smiled brightly. "We've decided that before you and Ashley leave we should take you on a proper date, so we are going to go mini golfing, then catch a movie and then grab some dinner." He said as he stalked closer to where I was standing.

"Sounds fun. You guys wake up Ashley and I'm just gonna change my clothes real quick." I rushed over to my suitcase that I never unpacked and grabbed some ripped jeans, my black vans and a flowy tank top. As we left I grabbed my black leather jacket and piled into the car.

Cam and I sat in front while Hayes and Ashley talked in the back. I couldn't quiet figure out what they were saying but I could tell there was tension between them tonight.

It was a short ride to the miniature golf course we were going to and we made it there in less than 10 minutes. When we arrived, we ran inside grabbing our materials and hitting the course. The first few were easy and I was in 1st place. Cam was in second and Ashley and Hayes were tied for last.

We got to the last hole and Cam and I were neck and neck and I had no idea what to do. I was trying to figure it out when I felt his strong build come up behind me. He wrapped his arms around me as a guide and I now realized why they chose to go mini golfing. They figured we'd suck and they'd get to show us how to play.

I made a hole in one on that shot, more thanks to Cam than me. He got the same and we ended up tied. Hayes came in next and Ashley had lost. I had always been better than her at mini golf anyways.

We finished the course and went to the movie. We saw Divergent. I read the books and was totally obsessed and the movie had just been released the other night but I hadn't found the time to go see it. In simpler terms, I was glad to see this particular film.

Hayes and Ashley were basically making out the entire time and I gotta tell ya, it was a wee bit distracting. Cam and I were totally hypnotized by the movie. Like we were in a trance and nothing can break us of it.

"That movie was amazing!" I said to Cam enthusiastically when the credits were rolling and the theater was clearing out.

"I know I loved the whole concept of it. Like the plot the author had wrote. I guess I'll have to read the next books now." He said. I was glad he was as into something I loved.

"I have them on my kindle, if you want to borrow it until I see you again that's cool." I offered.

"Thanks Sam, I'd love that. And it gives me a perfect excuse to see you again." He added winking.

We went to dinner and it was so fun. We completely destroyed the restaurant. There was good all over the table and were sure to tip the waiter extra for all the trouble we had caused. It was definitely the best date I've ever experienced. We were laughing the entire time and just lived in the moment, something I was finding myself do more and more everyday we spend here.

The guys walked us back and we convinced them that they should stay. it was only around 9:30 but we were still beat from last night. I watched as Hayes and Ashley enjoyably curled up together in her bed and fell asleep almost instantly.

We decided on hitting the hey ourselves. Cam pecked me on the lips before I nestled my head into his chest and closed my eyes ready to be taken away by slumber. I felt him lean his head on my and whisper,"Please don't ever leave me." Then I blacked out.
