The blade sliced through the flesh of the nurse as though it met with no resistance as her face turned a ghostly white which seemed almost transparent. A fountain of thick, red blood sprayed from the artery, but not continuously, the blood sprayed out, pumping in time with her fading, beating heart. Splattering over the white-washed walls of the infirmary, the red liquid made it its mission to re-paint the wall as she plummeted towards the floor at an incredible pace.
"See!" Fay exclaimed. "None of you are real! You're not here, you're in my head. My messed up fucking head!"
Red liquid continued to pump from the nurse as nobody dared to move in fear of being the next victim. The nurse's voice came out as nothing more than a strangled whisper as she attempted to move one last time before she drew her last breath, eyes glazing over and dropping to the floor as she ceased to move again.
Fay's eye became wide as giggles erupted from her mouth and she brought her hands up to her ears, shaking her head rapidly. Silently, the Alpha approached her as though a person may approach a vicious dog.
"Fay," he commanded in his Alpha tone, forcing her to stop giggling, "who is your Alpha, Fay?"
"You can be my Alpha any day," she purred as she crawled towards him, reaching for his chest, only to have her wrists grabbed in his hands.
"I will not take advantage of someone so vulnerable," he murmured to himself, "Fay, we found you at the side of the crossing, and more to the point, we found you in this condition. I will ask you one last time. Who is your Alpha?"
Her brows furrowed in confusion as she appeared to think for a couple of minutes before shrugging, disheartened, as she looked down. He sighed running a hand through his thick black hair.
"What's your name?" Fay queried looking up with big doe-eyes.
"Alpha Hayes, you're in the Obsession Pack. Do you remember your Alpha, family or anything at all that could help us Fay?"
She shook her head, pulled back and started laughing airily as she drew shapes in the air whilst blabbering to herself meaninglessly.
Alpha Hayes pulled Dr Richard to the side as the other nurses and doctors left the room in a hurry. They observed the girl together. Too skinny, too pale, too bruised and completely insane.
Her mysterious, crazed, grey eyes were wide and alert and she suddenly scrambled back on the bed as though someone was approaching her to attack her."I'm sorry Master," Fay cried, "I promise I didn't mean it! I didn't mean it! I didn't mean to kill him!"
The men exchanged glances. Kill? Who had she killed? Alpha Hayes rushed a hand through his hair clearly frustrated at the situation. He walked to Fay and crouched down to eye level.
"Who did you kill?"
She started laughing nervously as she pointed on the floor beside her feet- away from where the nurse still lay dead.
"Why did you kill them?" Alpha Hayes asked softly attempting to calm the girl currently rocking back and fourth.
"They... He... They," she started giggling once again.
"Fay what did they do?"
"They tried to drown me. They tried to beat me. They tried to mate me. I had to Master."
Someone had tried to mate and murder this young, vulnerable girl. Everybody knew that to mate someone else's mate was punishable by Sin and the Moon Goddess in the worst imaginable way possible.
Doctor Richard sat down, cross legged, on the floor motioning for Alpha Hayes to follow suit. Shooting him a questioning glance, the Alpha sat gaining the attention of Fay, dragging her out of her delusional state.
"Do you want us to make it go away Fay?" Doctor Richard asked to which she nodded her head.
"I'm not a murderer. I swear I'm not. Take the blood off my hands. Make it go, please, I beg you," she sobbed. Doctor Richard nodded as he crawled to her bedside.
"Fay," he whispered, "you're not a killer I promise, you're just a very sick person right now. I can make you better Fay but you need to want to help yourself."
"Sick? I'm not sick! I'm not evil! They made me," she cried becoming angry.
"No, no, no, Fay, I don't mean evil," he began slowly, "you're just very unwell at the moment in your head."
She stopped.
"You can be unwell in the head?"
"Yes dear-"
"Don't call me dear, he did that," Fay interrupted.
"Sorry, but yes, Fay, you need to tell me what happened so I know how to help you."
Fay looked for confirmation from Alpha Hayes to which he nodded encouragingly.
"Okay, make me better, please. I'll do anything. Just please. Anything."

Alpha Hayes took Doctor Richard outside after having the body of the nurse removed.
"Can you help her Richard?"
"I'm not sure Alpha," he began as he avoided eye contact, "this goes way beyond physical health problems and far beyond the common mental health problems. You saw her mania first hand Alpha."
"Indeed Richard," he hummed in wonder, "perhaps I ought to call an Alpha meeting, perhaps she belongs to a pack."
Alpha Hayes stalked down the corridor of the Obsession Pack's hospital and out towards his black SUV.
Oh Fay, he thought, so much trouble in such little time by one tiny girl.
