Two Days Later

"His camp is somewhere along the northern border of the pack crossing, hidden in the Elder Forest," Alpha Carter informed, "it should be easy to invade with the Deception and Force packs situated behind it."

"How many men has he got?" Ryder queried as he paced the room.

"700 at the maximum- 700 rogues so they shouldn't be that difficult to eliminate completely," Carter replied.

"How many men have we got combined?"

"With every pack's armies involved we have around 90,000. We certainly don't need that many men to take down 700. I suggest we just use the Force, Deception and the Fury pack's armies- they're the strongest warriors, there will be less casualties on our part. The rest of the packs will not be necessary from this point forward unless you wish to make yourselves part of this war," Alpha Carter said turning towards the rest of the Alphas.

"Inform me when Damien has been slain, I wish to see it for myself, however, my pack is having issues. Disappearances are becoming more frequent and I have a duty to my people before anyone else. Especially my mate," Braiden said as he stood, ready to walk to the door with a stone cold look upon his face.

"Your mate Braiden?" Carter asked sceptically, "have you found her at last? Why is she not here with you as Luna?"

"I know who she is but she does not know who I am to her, although, I suspect she shall know very soon," Braiden smirked before leaving the room.

'He's going to do something marvellously insane to tell her,' Arlo grinned before flouncing off after Braiden, probably to pester him in to telling him about his plans to get his mate.

A majority of the alphas dismissed themselves seeing that it would be pointless to stay and become involved in a war that did not need them. But Hayes stayed.

"I will avenge her alongside you Ryder," Hayes spat bitterly.

"So this is the plan," Ryder began, leaning over the map as Hayes, Silus, Ashton and Carter gathered around him. The five alphas would slaughter Damien and avenge Luna Fay.

*****

Fay wondered through the forest on her own, bare-foot, torn dress and muddy feet. Her hair was matted with leaves and tangled from the wind striking through her hair with the knife in her hand dripping with bloody from the deer she had just slaughtered.
Running her tongue up the flat side of the knife she allowed the metallic taste of the deer's blood to flood her mouth making her senses become more alive. The lust for blood increased. She needed to kill somebody, she needed to hurt somebody just like she had been hurt for all of them years, she needed to feel powerful.

Fay would kill.

Prowling throughout the trees, hiding in the shadows, Fay eventually reached the borders of the forest and reached the beginning of a small cul-de-sac where a young lady was hanging out her washing. Perfect, Fay thought as she held up the knife and watched it glint in the sunlight. It gave off such a beautiful glare in the sunlight.

Roughly clamping her hand tightly over the woman's mouth, she pressed the flat side of the knife against the woman's chest allowing her to feel the cool metal that would kill her. Fay's manic episode caused her to enjoy seeing the woman writhing in fear and fully under her control. Just as she had been under his for almost an entire decade.

After a couple of moments of tormenting the young lady, Fay had enough. Time to kill, Fay thought sickly. The woman squirmed in Fay's grasp as she began to twist the blade so it was facing the lady's chest and began to drag the blade upwards towards her throats and there she stopped to arouse more fear from the lady.

"Life is a funny thing," Fay whispered in her ear, "one minute you have everything and the next," she darkly spat as she began to dig the blade into the ladies skin, "the next you are helpless, under somebody's control. Or dead."

"No, no, no, please no! I have my mate!" The woman whimpered.

"He didn't care that my mate was waiting so why should I?!" Fay screamed into her ear.

Slightly piercing the flesh of the woman's neck, Fay pushed the blade harder into her skin and watched in fascination as blood droplets oozed from beneath the knife's blade.

"Goodbye."

That was the last word the woman heard as Fay slashed the knife roughly across the woman's throat and watched her drop to her knees before falling on her face as she gurgled on her own blood. Fay smirked evilly before a sharp pain overwhelmed her head causing her to scream out in agony and dropped to the ground beside the dead woman.

Pain seared through her stomach, seemingly ripping her in half. Moving from her stomach the pain rolled like a tidal wave up into her chest, sending rivers of pain rushing through her veins into her arms. Her head felt as though someone had pierced the skull with over a thousand silver knives- she could have sworn her scalp was peeling away. Although her porcelain skin was already far too pale to be healthy, her complexion faded to a grave ash.
Screaming interminably, the fabric did little to silence the pained screams of the torture. Her life flashed before her very eyes, body convulsing furiously, straining her limbs against the leather straps, turning her flesh white under the severe pressure.

"There we go my darling," he mused, obviously satisfied, "we both got something out of that. You now know that you belong to me and I got to listen to you screaming my name."

Fay grasped her head and let out a soul-shattering scream as she came to realise what she had just done to this woman. Her mania had taken over forcing her to become like him. To become a monster.

Footsteps approached cautiously. Ryder. He sucked in a harsh breath as he realised what his precious angel had just done but even with her coated in blood from her latest victim, he knew she was entirely innocent- it was her sickness, her curse.
And he would be dammed if he let this curse of her mind destroy her. Pulling out his phone, he dialled for Hayes to get there as soon as possible as he caressed Fay's blood-stained cheeks assuring her that her would make her better and that she wasn't to blame for this.

Please remember to vote and comment! I have a lot of silent readers but every bit of support helps and encourages me!

Dark chapter, I know. But this chapter is kind of to show to what state Fay's mind is in right now and it isn't really her mind at all.
