Sofia wore her cardigan as she decided she needed help to find out where Zack was now. Since he was in the military she was sure someone would be able to help her and the only person she thought about was Adam. She walked quickly into the barracks and asked the first person she saw to point her out to Adam's bunk. When she walked to the bunk she realized he was packing. "Are you leaving?" Sofia asked leaning against his bed.

Adam turned around and was surprised to see Sofia standing there. He tried going to see after what had happened, but Faith told him to give her some space to grieve and now that she was standing right in front of him he didn't know what to say to her. So he decided to just answer her question. "I'm actually going home for a while. I tried coming to see you, but I didn't want to bother you" Sofia nodded her head in a understanding manor as she sat down on his bed. Adam also took a seat next to her as he observed her looking around his room. He saw how tired she looked. He knew she had been crying because her eyes were still a little puffy. He wanted nothing more than to hold her in his arms again.

Sofia finally turned to look at Adam "I need your help with something" she said. Adam drew his eyebrows together. "It's a long story, but Bea left me a letter and she told me who Laila's dad was. His name is Zack Peterson and he's in the army so I was wondering if you could help me find out where he is. In the letter she asked me to find him and it's something that I have to do" Sofia told Adam as she took a deep breathe. She finally looked up at him with pleading eyes. Adam saw how desperate she looked so he smiled and nodded his head. If this was going to bring some relief for her then he would be glad to help.

He stood up and told Sofia to follow him. As the walked out of the barracks the silence between them was comforting. Adam took Sofia into an office where he pulled up a chair for her and sat down next to her in front of the computer. As Adam typed in Zack's name Sofia prayed that nothing bad happened to Zack. She needed to find him. She was scared what Adam might come up with.

"There must be a dozen guys named Zack Peterson in the military so I need you to tell me more about him" Adam told her. So Sofia began to tell him what she knew about Zack. After searching for a few minutes Adam was finally able to locate him.

"I found him" Adam said. Sofia held her breathe.

"It looks like he's stationed in Florida again" Adam said reading a few things. Relief flooded Sofia. She was going to find Zack and tell him about Laila, but Sofia knew deep inside that she couldn't do it alone. She would need help. Who knows what kind of troubles she may face. Then a thought popped into her head.

"Adam I was wondering if..." she began to say and as Adam stared at her, her heart beat increased. What if he says no and doesn't want to help her. But then she thought about both of the promises she made to Bea.

"Yeah?" he asked curiously.

"I was wondering if you would help me find Zack" Sofia said. She wasn't able to look at him. So Adam took her hand. Her hands were so soft and warm. "Yes, I would love to help you" he said brushing his thumb against her skin. Sofia looked at him and smiled. She felt weird smiling it's been days since the last time she actually had a smile on her face. Sofia glanced at the time and it was getting late she had to start packing.

Sofia got up, letting go of Adam's hand. "I'll walk you to your room" he said.

"How's Sam doing?" Sofia asked. Adam sighed the past couple of days has been tough on Sam. He was slowly recovering from that dreadful day. "He's okay not like how he used to be, but he needs some time" Adam told her while observing Sofia's face.

"What about you? How are you holding up?"

This time Sofia sighed. "The same as Sam, I just need some time and now this thing Bea left me with. I need to do this not only for her, but also for myself " Sofia told him as they stopped in front of her room. Adam nodded his head in understanding way. He wanted nothing more than to kiss her and take away all her pain. Sofia wasn't the only one who has promised Bea something, but Adam did as well. He knew he was falling hard for her.

"Adam thanks for everything I really appreciate it" Sofia told him.

"No problem I'm glad I can help. I'll see you tomorrow Sofia" Adam said quickly. He knew if he stood there any longer he would kiss her, but he also knew that now was not the right time.

As Adam walked back to the barracks he thought about how spending time with Sofia would be like. Maybe he thought this would be good for them. This mission is exactly what they both needed.
