Felix dipped his finger into bright cherry red frosting from a whole mixing bowl worth of it, and then he promptly dabbed the creamy mix onto the tip of an unsuspecting Darcy's nose, much to her adorable mock annoyance.

"Darcy, the red-nosed reindeer!" Felix playfully sang out of tune to the jingle frequently blasted in departmental stores come December. He laughed when he saw what she did next.

Darcy stuck a tongue out at him whilst secretly she prepared to launch an attack right back at him, despite trying her best to stifle her outburst of laughter, all the way through it. Felix had his back toward her for just that split second moment as he reached up behind him, unfortunately at such bad timing, for a whisk.

Little did he know that what he was searching for, was already within Darcy's reach. "Darcy, did you see the-" Felix began, only to be startled momentarily by the same red frosting he had attacked Darcy with only seconds ago, flying right at him from the whisk Darcy now held cheekily in her hands.

She shook the whisk again and laughed in hysterics for she was unable to contain her laughter as the red frosting covered Felix's hair almost in entirety, making him look like he was wearing a Christmas hat.

Felix too started laughing as he started chasing poor Darcy around the tiny kitchen they were in, making them look every bit like playful five year olds.

"Food fight 2.0!" yelled out Aidan all of a sudden from behind the counter in which previously he was huddled closely together with Sarah where they were clearly hard at work on some pasta linguine.

The entire kitchen of five sprung into immediate action, grabbing and making their desired weapons ready as they begun launching attacks at their unsuspecting victims.

Sarah yelped in utter disbelief as she felt a cold, slimey and gooey mixture of liquid sliding down her back when only moments later, Felix and Aidan had teamed up and are now throwing eggs behind her, at her.

She quickly reached out for the huge bucket of sticky sweet iced fruit punch sitting atop the fridge and she hurled the entire bucket's contents at her two friends who ran away as quickly as they could, yet not quite managing to escape Sarah's weapon of choice, thus causing them to drip head to toe in the sticky concoction, like wet stray cats roaming helplessly in the back dingy alleys of a dark, deserted area.

Except this time, these two cats are in for revenge.

They grabbed two eggs each and aimed at their goal, the bulls-eye, that was Sarah's head. Aim, they threw, and they scored; laughing like hyenas as they took cover behind the storage cabinet. Sarah grabbed a second bucket of iced fruit punch and hurled, managing to hit her target - Aidan.

She seemed satisfied with hitting at least one of them which was her goal anyway, as she high-fived Abby who was close by, and no doubt the smirks on their faces were hard to go by unnoticed, for it was Abby who was in charge of the fruit punch after all.

Indeed it was a chaotic mess and it was a good thing that Alexa was not around to reprimand, for seven minutes into Food Fight 2.0, (the second ever food fight held at the rehab that month) and every single one of them were already sporting the cake-mixture, pasta-linguine, fruit-punch look and were clearly beat for they have exhausted all the hiding spots they could possibly find in that small kitchen.

Right now, they knew their ammunitions were fast depleting and the percentage left remaining on their life bar was slowly but surely decreasing, as seconds ticked off the clock. The war was now ending and the inevitable moment has arrived for someone to give up- then and there.
