Chapter 8

-Leo-

"Ano nanamang kailangan mo at nandito nanaman kayo?" Tanong ko kay Yvonne.

She looked at me as if she was dissappointed. 

"I just said it. Your head." She said while pointing at my head, "I wanted to have it so that I could show it to your father. I want to all take all of his precious one away, one by one before I kill him."

Tumalon siya papunta sa harapan ko at hinawakan ako sa pisngi. Hindi ako gumagalaw at nakatingin lang sa kaniya.

"Why? Why do you want to kill him so badly?"

She placed her forefinger at the side of her lips as if she was thinking.

"Because of him, our father is in a coma. No one knows if he will live, or die. He can't get his revenge so I will get it for him!" Huminga muna siya ng malalim at ngumisi, "Such a shame, I've always liked you, you know? I wanted to make you mine, but after finding out that you are that man's son. It doesn't matter anymore!"

Sa dami ng mga taong napadala ni Dad sa hospital, hindi ko alam kung sino dun ang papa nito.

"I don't blame you for feeling that way, but how sure are you that you can easily kill us? And our father?" Seryosong tanong ni Neo.

She let out an evil smile and looked at Neo straight in the eyes. Kinilabutan ako sa tingin na yun kahit hindi para sakin. What the hell? Pero itong si Neo, kalmado parin at parang wala lang sa kaniya ang tingin ni Yvonne.

"Ofcourse I can't do it easily. But I know some of your weaknesses."

"Weaknesses? I don't remember having one though. Mind telling me one?"

"Hmm. Im not sure but.. Oh well, I'll start with your biggest weakness.. Rina Elizabeth Roxas."

I let out a big sigh as I lay my head down on the table.

"Rina, what's wrong? Kanina ka pa malungkot."

I looked at Sophie, my bestfriend, and sighed.

"Dad got mad at me yesterday."

Mukhang nagulat siya sa sin abi ko kasi nanlaki ang mata niya. Can't blame her, this is the first time my Dad got mad at me and shouted at me, for real!

"Why? What happened? Hindi ka pa niya kinakausap?"

Umiling ako at muling napabuntong hininga. Hindi ko rin makausap si Dad kasi hindi ko alam kung pano, tsaka natatakot padin ako sa kaniya.

"Hey, Rina! What's up with that face? Something wrong?"

Napaayos kaagad ako ng upo nung biglang sumulpot si Luke, ang love of my life! Pero take note, hindi ko po siya boyfriend alam niyo naman I have strict parents and brothers. Tsaka last week lang nagtransfer dito sa school namin si Luke, galing siya ng Japan. At dahil Ms. Friendly ako, naging kaibigan ko kaagad siya.

"Her dad got mad at her. And she doesn't know what to do."

"Really? That's new."

See? I told you, kahit sinong makakarinig sa nangyari ay magugulat din.

"Why don't you buy him something? As a peace offering? Hindi ka rin naman matitiis ng Dad mo. Ikaw pa ba? Wala namang nakakatiis sayo ng matagal eh."

Parang saglit na tumigil yung tibok ng puso ko nung bigyan niya ako ng isang matamis na ngiti.

Omyghad, Luke! Don't do that, baka ma-rape kita dito at lalong madagdagan ang galit sakin ni Dad.
