Chapter 11

*The night before Neo was found

"That idiot! He said he would be back right away!" I said while trying to call him.

But damn it! He turned his phone off! Why have a cellphone at all if you're just going to turn it off?!

"Leo, do you think we should go and find him? I have a bad feeling about this."

Me too, Raquel. And whenever one of us has a bad feeling, most of them are true. At ngayong pareho kame ng kutob, malamang sa malamang ay may nangyari nga kay Neo. Tsk. It's not like him to get into trouble! Especially when he is alone.

"I'll go find him, the two of you stay here and keep on calling him. Don't go outside! Alright?"

Both of them nodded. I took my sword and went out to find him. Damn it, Neo! Where the hell are you?

I searched all the possible path ways that leads to the council. But he is nowhere to be found. The council is already closed at this time so it's impossible that he is still in there. And even if he is, he will tell me! Even if we argue a lot, he doesn't do a reckless and stupid things that will make me worry. Especially Mom, Dad, and Rina.

Malakas ko siyang sinuntok sa tyan niya kaya napaatras siya at namilipit sa sakit. I'm not in the mood to be merciful.

I grabbed his fist before it could land on my face and twisted it then kicked him in his face. Mukhang naka recover na yung isa dahil nakatayo na siya at sinugod ako, this time he is holding a knife. Madali ko lang naiiwasan ang mga tira niya kaya nung akmang sasaksakin niya uli ako umiwas ako at hinawakan ang kamay niya na may hawak na kutsilyo, diniinan ko ang pagkakahawak dun kaya nabitawan niya yung kutsilyo. Nakarinig ako ng baril na kinasa kaya napatingin ako dun sa isang lalake. "Im going to ask again. Where.Did.You.Get.That!"

"A-a-at the f-f-forest! At the bottom of the big tree. A man was lying down there!"

Tch. Sasabihin din pala kailangan sinasaktan pa. Sinipa ko siya palayo tapos kinuha yung baril ni Neo tsaka pumunta dun sa malaking puno sa gitna ng forest.

"Neo? Neo!!" I called out his name.

But he is not answering. Tsk, what the hell is he even doing lying down on...this...place....

"NEO!!"

Mabilis akong lumapit sa kaniya nung nakita kong nakahiga siya sa lapag at hirap na hirap huminga.
