The Visitor

ICE's POV

We're currently here in the hospital. Nasa hallway pa lang kami ni Ms. Nicole at base sa dinadaanan namin, mahahalata talagang private na tao ang pupuntahan namin.

"We're here." the nurse said. She guided us on our way here infront of Black's private room.

Umalis na din naman ito kaagad. Kinatok ni Ms. Nicole ang pinto at sinabihan naman kami ni Black ng 'come in' kaya pumasok na kami.

"Hello Black. It's good to see na you look fine." nakangiting sabi ni Ms. Nicole but since Black is wearing her full mask, we're not able to see her expression. Even her eyes are hidden under the mask.

Ms. Nicole was about to say something when someone knocked in the door. A nurse came in and she was holding a pot with a flower, I think. I wasn't able to see the flower because it was covered with a black plastic but it has some holes.

"Ms. Black, may nagpadala po nitong bulaklak para sa inyo. Get well soon daw po." nakangiting sabi ng nurse. Ipinatong niya ito sa lamesang malapit kay Black and Black just nodded, after that umalis na din kaagad yung nurse.

"Well, I brought King with me since you two have some unfinish business to talk about. I just came here to see if you're fine but seeing you right now, I think you look good." Ms. Nicole said. She sat near Black and look at her.

"I hope I'll be able to see you soon in the academy. Anyway, I'll be going. Get well soon! I'll leave you with King since you have a lot of things to talk to. I also brought the results of the evaluation test. Here's the flashdrive. Bye!" She said then she gave her the flashdrive. After that, she left us.

She said she have a lot of things to do in the academy that's why she needs to leave early. I look at Black but she seems irritated. Medyo nanginginig ang kamay niya at parang kanina pa niya itong pinipigilan.

"A-are you ok?" I asked. I'm a little bit nervous by her presence but fuck! Who wouldn't!? I've never seen her like this before. Her body is acting weird and by the look of her movements, she's uncomfortable.

"T-t-take a-away t-that f-fucking f-f-flower!" She stammered. Nataranta naman ako at agad na inalis ang bulaklak na dala nung nurse kanina at itinapon ko na ito sa labas.

I went back in her room at nakita kong nahihirapan siyang huminga, her hearbeat is rapidly changing kaya naman I press the red button near her bed to call for help.

Agad naman nagsipasok ang doctor at mga nurses sa loob. They checked Black at agad nila akong tinanong kung anong nangyari.

"She asked me to take away the flower. I don't know what kind of flower is that but it has a sweet scent." I said. Inutusan naman ng doctor na tingnan kung anong bulaklak iyon kaya sinabi ko dito kung saan ko iyon itinapon.

Kinuha iyon ng nurse sa trash can at inalis ang black na plastic na nagcocover dito.

"It's a Nerium Oleander flower, Doc." the nurse said. I creased my forehead. I don't know flowers and I don't give a damn with it but now, I found myself so stupid for not knowing what kind of flower is that.
