After a couple of days at working at the CCPD I began to feel comfortable in the routine that had become my life. Surprisingly in the short week since I began work I was able to quickly able to find a friend in Henry. And because Harry and Jesse where still on this Earth and since I really didn't have much to contribute to the S.T.A.R. Labs team I accepted Henry's invitation for coffee after work.
"So when are we going to double date?" Henry suddenly asked as he began to practically devour the slice of chocolate cake in front of him. He had a small smile on his lips, which wasn't unusual he always seemed to be smiling, but this one was clearly a teasing one.
"What do you mean?" I questioned feeling confused about the question and it's meaning as a whole.
He leaned forward on his elbows giving me a look that made me feel like I should already know what he was referring to. "You, me, Michael...Wally."
I felt stunned at hearing those words that I even laughed at the thought. Truth was I hated talking to perfect Wally West, I tried to avoid it as much as possible. "You wanted to make me laugh. Well, you did it."
"That doesn't count...because it wasn't a joke. I mean he's always popping in to visit you." Henry pointed out and I had to force myself not to roll my eyes at the reminder. I simply didn't understand why Joe kept sending Wally down at the evidence locker, the idea of everyone feeling like I needed to be checked up on was frustrating and was beginning to weigh down on me.
"I know it's starting to get annoying."
"I think it's cute." He defined through another mouth full of cake. "Well... I would still like you to meet Michael."
I pressed my lips together the thought of meeting someone new not exactly exciting. For the longest time it had only been my mother and I, not many people where in my life until recently. My people skills were rusty to say the least. "You know I'm not great with people."
"That reminds me actually," He began as he reached into the bag where he usually kept his sketch pad and supplies. Now he pulled out a thin book and a pack of markers. "you said you had anger issues. Which I have seen a glimpse of now, and I thought this might help. It might destress you a bit."
I looked down at the adult coloring book and then up at him weighing whether or not this was a joke. "What am I? Five?"
"Believe it or not, it might actually help." He continued as he pushed the coloring book closer to me.
"Thanks."
At that moment I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket with what seemed like a string of text messages. I didn't need to look at the screen to know that it had to be Cisco who tended to text multiple messages at a time until he got a response. There was also the fact that he didn't text unless there was an emergency. Quickly I scrolled through someone of the messages saying that Barry was needed all of our help and I had to get to S.T.A.R. Labs as soon as possible. Although none of the text gave any specifics, I could already imagine what kind of unbelievable meta there was running around the city.
"Sorry, I have to go." I muttered as I picked up the coloring book and bag. "I'll see you tomorrow Henry."

"Where have you been?" Cisco questioned as I entered the room where everyone was gathered around a large mirror. "I thought you were off of work two hours ago."
I found it odd that Cisco seemed to know where everyone was at all times. Ignoring him I moved to the other side of the mirror to see what everyone else was staring at. Their faces were all a mix of guilt, amusement and worry. Then I saw Barry and all I felt was shock at seeing him inside the mirror. When the shock wore off it was replaced with amusement at his current state.
