Once Barry had come back from the warehouse, unsuccessfully bring back Caitlin no one could ignore the think tension in the air. Iris was helping Barry in the medical bay, while Cisco furiously attempted various methods to locate Caitlin again. All I could do is sit nobly in the corner weighing the small amount of doubt that maybe Caitlin had been lying. That her becoming Killer Frost was causing her to say nonsense, but I knew better.

"Cisco." Barry began as he limped into the Cortex, tears already in his eyes. "Hey, man, um, what Caitlin said..."

"Was she lying?" Cisco questioned calmly though the strain in his voice spoke of how difficult it was for him to not yell at his best friend. It seemed that he was also hopeful that everything that Caitlin had said was a lie.

"No. Um..."

"You're sorry?" Cisco continued in disbelief as he shoved Barry back, I was surprised to see this angry and resentful side of Cisco. Although I could see that Barry was hurting and already torn apart the darkest part of me thought that it wasn't enough. "That you killed my brother? Cause he was here. He was alive... until you created Flashpoint, until you did this."

Having heard enough and seeing that Cisco wasn't going to do anything other than yell at him I stood. "You son of a bitch! You lied to me."

"Jade I'm sorry." He pleaded but the words didn't register in my mind as I raised me fist, everything seemed a blur it wasn't until I felt the pain in my knuckles that my mind seemed to clear. Barry was picking himself up, wiping the blood from his nose and although I knew he could have stopped me if he wanted to.

He didn't. Because he knew he deserved it.

"How about Diane?" Joe suddenly questioned, pain written all over his features. This whole time I was focusing on my hatred towards Barry and my mother, I had forgotten Caitlin's other words. But maybe that was because they seemed ridiculous, more ridiculous that the idea of time travel or that a mother would kill her own child. "Was Caitlin lying about Diane?"

Barry shook his head as he suddenly ran across the room to where Caitlin kept most of her medical files. He was a blur as he opened and closed cabinets searching through all the files until he found the one he was looking for. We all watched in silence as he read a single sheet of paper before he fell to his knees releasing a cry of pain.

A part of me felt denial at the idea as I made my way over to him taking the sheet of paper from his grasp. I needed confirmation, even if his tears and anguish gave me all the answers that I needed.

"Absurd." I muttered in disbelief and mild disgust as I read the results again hoping that they were some kind of prank. I had always believed that my sister's relationship with Barry Allen was nothing serious, that he was someone that she used to pass the time. She had never particularly talked about him to me, she always spoke of Roy Harper and Oliver Queen. It was clear to me that they were the most important people in her life. "A daughter of Ra's al Ghul bearing your child? You are weak and unworthy."

I let the piece of paper fall to the ground as I left the room, fury the only emotion that was clear to me. As I entered Cisco's workshop I looked at my sister's suit, out of place in this room of gadgets.

"You shouldn't have said that to Barry he's hurting too." I heard Iris say and when I turned I found her standing by the doorway with uncertainty. Like everyone else in this team I had never really had a relationship with Iris, her reason for being here was unknown to me.

Seeing Iris now made me realize that I had no one or nothing in this city and that it was foolish of me to think that I could stay here. Just as my sister did not belong, neither did I. "I only spoke the truth. Why else do you think that Ra's al Ghul wanted her to marry Oliver Queen? He was her equal, Barry never was."
