The Shower

A few days later...

When I got to bring Sabrina to Buck's house, it was the best experience.

The hospital gave Sabrina a brand new car seat which was super cute!

The car seat had Minnie Mouse on it and it just looked adorable:

Champ knew something new was happening because he was acting differently.

Oh, did I tell you? A couple months ago, the vet told us Champ wasn't sick anymore, and that he didn't have to keep taking those pills.

What a relief am I right? As me and Two-bit stepped out of my new car, the first couple of steps now being parents, we walked inside Bucks house.

It was dark...a little too dark. I turned the light switch on to see balloons, cake, presents, and more.

My eyes started to tear up just looking at it.

Everybody came out from hiding and yelled, "Surprise!"

I said, "Oh, you guys! You don't know how much this means to me!"

It was a baby shower. I cradled Sabrina in my arms and thought wow.

She was beginning to wake up. I walked over to the stack of gifts, and they were all wrapped in pink.

I walked over to the cake. Of course, it was chocolate.

There was a wife and a husband at the top cradling a little baby wrapped in pink.

Darry said, "Here, Dixie, why don't you sit down."

I turned towards Two-bit as Sabrina started to cry.

He said, "Don't worry I've got her." I handed Sabrina to him, and turned back around.

Darry sat me down on the couch and handed me a gift.

It said, "From Darry, Soda, and Pony" on it.

As unwrapping it, I said, "Is anything going to pop out and scare me?"

Pony said, "No, just open it." I opened the box to find tons of diapers:
