A lot of different things crossed my mind as I rushed out of Bonnie's room to Alison's office for my phone. Ashley was a sneaky bitch, I knew that but maybe not the leangths she's ready to take to get what she wanted. My best friend was hurting. No, both of my best friends were hurting even though I just had a fight with one, I still wanted them to be happy. And Brad and Caroline were happy only when they were together. Only together.

I wasn't letting anyone ruin what they have.

To my luck, my phone had no credit. I had to walk to the nearest store which was four blocks away. I called Julian immediately.

"I can't right now." he whisppered.

"This is important." I insisted.

"My new boss is all over my case, not the kindest person out there so I need to stay at the shop." he sounded angry but I didn't care.

"Just make something up because I can't go on my own at that chick's place." I sulked.

"I can't, Charlie. I can't afford to get fired, I need the money because I am late with my rent."

"Oh, please just call your daddy and he'll give you some extra money." I said without even thinking. By the time I had realized what I had said it was too late. "You know what, screw you Charlie." he exclaimed.

I should have said sorry buf I didn't. "You know what, screw you too Julian." why didn't I say I'm sorry?

"You'll never change, will you? One time a guy can't fulfill your stupid request you have to get all Charlie-The-Dark." he exhaled.

"This isn't for me this is for our best friend, your best friend and plus you still owe me one for pretending to be your stupid girlfriend. Twice!" I showed two with my fingers as if he could see me.

"I am going to hang up right now and you can preach to someone that gives a fuck about your morals and beliefs. Godbye." he screamed the last part then hung up.

I looked at the phone and grouched in anger. "Stupid idiot." I exclaimed then put the phone in my pocket. With that, I walked to Ashley's house and got there in the next thirty minutes. I was exhausted.

With three loud bangs on the door, Ashley finally answered. "What the hell is the matter with you?" she had a scared look on her face.

"We need to talk." I said panting. "About what?" she took a deffensive stand.

"I know you're lying!" I cut right to the case. For a second she looked completely terrified. But she got herself pretty quickly. "What are you talking about?" she asked holding her chin up.

"That night, Brad refused, didn't he?" I asked finally catching my breath. "No, he actually enjoyed it."

She was good, really good but I was even better. "You planned it. You thought that maybe if you get him drunk enough then you'll somehow force him but he didn't give in." I neared her. "You know why? He doesn't give a crap about you. He loves Caroline and hates you. He thinks you're a thorn in the eye." I could see her eyes watering, any minute now.

"You know that too but you love him and the only way you thought to keep him was through this lie. It's not gonna work, Ashley. He will never love you the way he loves Caroline. She is the only one for her. You're nothing but a bump in the road bound to be passed."

She slapped me. She really, actually slapped me. I knew it was gonna leave a mark. I hated being slapped. God, I just hated it. "Shut up." she cried. I couldn't stop myself. I pulled her hair and pushed her out of the doorway. "You're comming with me." I demanded while she screamed to let her go. "You're gonna tell everyone you lied about the pregnancy." I said still pulling her.
