Interviewing The Wattpaders![And Crazy Challenges]

Assalamualaikum!

Looking back this was an amazing interview. I enjoyed this one so much partly because she's a young writer like I was.

Let's get to it :)

1).How did you discover Wattpad?

crazyme_97 : The holidays before my college began, I was bored to my wits. I happened to stumble across wattpad when I was browsing for random stories on net.The moment I saw that I could read unlimited books for free,I signed up at once! Since then many from my class have also joined wattpad because of me. Makes me think that I would have made a marvellous marketing student. Haha =D !

2).What inspired you to write?

crazyme_97 : No one in particular. From the time, I started reading books, I've always wanted to try out my hand at writing. Not novels necessarily but from snippets of stories to poems to essays, I've always felt comfortable pouring out what I feel in words rather than expressing them out aloud. Its something I love to do and it helps me boost my confidence level.

3).What is your favourite book on Wattpad?

crazyme_97 : The Dangers of Islam: The Terrorist.  Gives me goosebumps everytime I think about it!

4).Who is your favourite Author on Wattpad?

crazyme_97: For someone who finds it very difficult to pick favourites, I have a lot of them HelenaWon sajmra Ruyaa12

5).What was your reaction when you recieved your first-ever comment?

crazyme_97 : I was so jumpy. Literally! I was at college at the time when I decided to peek into my phone and what do I see there? My first ever vote and comment. I could not stop the butterflies in my stomach for a long time that day. That being said, my first ever reader was a kind soul. She has gotten married now, doesn't read much, even if she does, she doesn't venture out to my books. Miss you ilovuAllah

6).Would you release your book in future?

crazyme_97 : I'm being very optimistic over here when I say I want to do it but I do not know what plans Allah has for He is the best of all Planners. Let's hope for the best Insha'Allah 😊

7).What would you do if someone copy your work?

crazyme_97 : I'm not a violent person by nature but when some people don't follow certain crucial rules,they got onto my nerves. So maybe after worrying and pacing a bit,I will proceed on with legal actions.

8).What is your response to hate comments?

crazyme_97 : I simply ignore them, I don't want to make enemies,I really don't.

9).What is your advice to the writers on Wattpad?

crazyme_97 : Well, everyone can write but that does not mean everyone should. I might sound rude over here but I think its best for all of us if we look into what we write.

Of course, if you love to write you are supposed to pursue it. Don't stop half way or give it up but at the same time be careful of what you write. Its disheartening for me when I see spiritual books on wattpad having nothing else other than arranged marriages, forced marriages, billionaires and more more billionaires. Throw in just a piece of cloth, they call it hijab and deem it spiritual. Things don't work that way in reality. And as Muslims, we are giving off very bad vibes to non Muslims.

We are supposed to be proper representatives of Islam. Its our duty to do dawah. So please please be careful of what you write|

10).Finally,Do you find writing on Wattpad useful?

crazyme_97 : Yes, it has helped me a great deal Alhamdulillah.                        I don't really prepare notes for my English exam. It bores me. All I do is read the texts thoroughly and develop the answers as I write my exam paper. I do the same thing even now but I've started scoring ridiculously high marks. (Trust me when I say, scoring marks from a desi teacher that too, an English teacher is a really tough task). It has also helped me learn how to manage my time while writing.

Too bad, I'm done with all the English papers I had to write in my life 🙂

11).Your favourite Reader?

crazyme_97 : Readers as a whole are really a blessing. They range from silent readers to those who vote occasionally to those who vote with each update to those who let me know what they feel about my writing and about my characters. Although it might sound crazy (and my craziness is depicted in my user id itself😝) I keep track of all of them. I keep track of all my readers.

There are some whose comments make me smile and laugh and even make me feel warm on the inside. I'm really really bad at picking favourites as I've already said but however, if my friend, sister and reader and the bestest person I've met online BlackRedHeart doesn't read my updates, I feel something lacking in them.
