Interviewing The Wattpaders![And Crazy Challenges]

Assalamualaikum guys! So I'm back with an interview after ages!!  How's your kids? are they doing well in schools? and erm in case i've been very late. CONGRATULATIONS ON BECOMING A GRANDPARENT YAYY!!

Alright getting to the interview,I have to say few things about the guest. He was a man of few words in this interview and to be honest, I completely enjoyed the interview. It was really satisfying and I also got to talk with him shortly about travelling after the interview. It was a very fun time with him and you guys should check his works once.

#1| How did you discover Wattpad?

WishingToDeath I've been writing since I was a kid. But I didn't know how to hide what I wrote. Four years ago, a friend suggested me this site. I used this site as a "storage". [But] I learned later that I could share what I wrote to people.

#2| What inspired you to write?

WishingToDeath I didn't have many friends in my childhood. I was a asocial kid who didn't leave his room. So I had a chance to read a lot of books. The books were very special to me. I see every book as a different universe. Now I'm creating my own universes!When I creating these universes, I usually use my imagination. In fact, each author's original inspiration is already his or her imagination. All other sources are subject to change. If I have to give a example few of them, I can say the books and movies/series I've been watching. The things I [experience] live are also very effective.

#3| Your favourite books?

WishingToDeath I didn't read a lot of books on Wattpad because I'm not a person who loves every book. I don't read every book. I've read a few, but they're Turkish. The book by Douglas Adams, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is the best book of the history for me. That's what inspired me for the book I'm writing right now! And the name of the book "Intergalactic Astronout!".

As a person who loves philosophy, I like"Sophie's World" by Jostein Gaarder. I think everybody should read this book. I don't need to tell [about] Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. That's a wonderful book series.

#4| How do you overcome Writer's block?

WishingToDeath The desire to write is not always something within us. Sometimes you're not inspired, you just looking at the screen and thinking. In such cases I'm not writing anything. Because if I write unwillingly, it will be reflected in this book [i write]. This reduces the quality of the book. [So] I try to clean my mind when that happens. I do not think anything. I'm playing games, watching things, going out and spending time. Then the inspiration comes to [me] itself.

#5| Define yourself in one word!

WishingToDeath Hmm, good question. I think I'm gonna say... thinker! :)

#6| Your quote on Islam?

WishingToDeath Islam is all over my life. I don't show people that I'm worshipping. I don't make profit with that. I'm saying this because [in] Turkey [we] have a lot of people like this. I don't like those people. I live in inside me. I constantly pray and speak with Allah. This is comforting me. If our subject is about writing, I did not need the help of Islam. Islam is helping my [whole] life and that's enough.

#7| An advice you'd like to give the beginning writers on Wattpad?

WishingToDeath They should know that no one is born as a writer. All authors develop by writing themselves. There will be mistakes, of course, they will be sad. But the important thing is to learn from their mistakes and get better every day. They should read a lot of books and do research before they write a book. They shouldn't write without knowing. When they see bad comments, they should listen wisely and accept their mistakes. And they should believe [in themselves]. We have a proverb; "Believing is half the success!"

#8| How much has Wattpad impacted you?

WishingToDeath It didn't really affect much. As I said after all ; this is a storage for me. I share things what I write to people, that's all.

#9| Would you like to tag a friend or mmm... tell us who's your favourite reader?  ><

WishingToDeath I can't tag a friend because I don't have a friend who uses Wattpad. But distinguishing between my readers? I can never do that. I love them all. If they weren't with me, I couldn't come [to this] todays. They are so much for me! I hope they'll always be there for me and read my books.
