1).How did you discover Wattpad?
BookgirlingMoments : I used to write on this app called High School Hero and when that shut down, my online friends recommended Wattpad and so we all migrated there. At first I will admit, I got Wattpad to stay in touch with my friends but then I eventually started writing on it too.
2).What inspired you to write?
BookgirlingMoments : I've been reading since I was little and the stories I read in books fascinated me. After a while, I wanted to create stories that would fascinate other readers - like me.
3).What is your favourite book on Wattpad?
BookgirlingMoments : That's a hard question to answer but I always enjoy books written by 2 of these Wattpad authors makeandoffer and @NoelleNC.
4).Who is your favourite Author on Wattpad?
BookgirlingMoments : It's makeandoffer without a doubt, I simply love her realistic characters and the humor in all of her stories.
5).How was your reaction when you recieved your first ever comment?
BookgirlingMoments : It was almost 4 years ago and I was overjoyed. I couldn't stop smiling for minutes.
6).Would you release your book in future?
BookgirlingMoments : As in actually publish some of my books in the future? Definitely. It's my ultimate goal to become a published writer and I hope that I'll achieve it.
7).What would you do if someone copy your work?
BookgirlingMoments : There have been a couple of people who've copied my short story 100 Voicemails and tried to pass it off as their own. I just report the authors now and don't create a fuss but the first time my book was copied, I posted a chapter in my book and let my readers know what was going on. It wasn't a smart decision since that person was cyber bullied by some of my readers and I don't encourage that in any situation - but I was very upset and not thinking straight. When I saw the situation was getting out of hand, I deleted the chapter and asked my readers to not be rude to her. She ended up deleting her account.
8).What is your response to hate comments?
BookgirlingMoments : I am so grateful that I haven't received any hate comments except just a couple literally. And in those rare moments, I try my best to keep calm and respond respectfully. If they're being even more rude, I simply delete their comments.
9).What is your advice to the writers on Wattpad?
BookgirlingMoments : Persistance is key. Keep writing and keep getting better at it. The more you write, the more you'll improve. You'll make mistakes, you'll be criticized but do not, under any circumstance, give up on it.
10).Finally,Do you find writing on Wattpad useful?
BookgirlingMoments : Yes, writing on Wattpad is very useful and can be used as a learning platform before you step out in the actual publishing world. My writing has improved so much because of Wattpad and my amazing readers who're always ready to lend a helping hand and let me know where my writing is lacking.
11).Your favourite Reader?
BookgirlingMoments : Ah, I don't have one. They're all the best, really. Love them all so much.
Here are my answers, let me know if you need anything else. Jazakallah Khair for this opportunity. :D
Best,
Sarah.~■~
No caption needed, one of the best interviews. But aren't all my interviews are? Haha. It feels good to have interviewed her. I hope she's achieving whatever she dreamed of.
