And it's Beauty4evar!

A Spritual/Romance writer on Wattpad!

1).How did you discover Wattpad?

Beauty4evar:My friends and I were talking about books. I was complaining about not being able to buy so many books (struggle of Desi parents),So my friends recommended wattpad!

2).What inspired you to write?

Beauty4evar:I actually hated writing as a child. I thought creative writing was the worst to do in class because I just disliked writing creatively. After I did Hajj with my parents, I came back to school and our teacher  gave us a picture and told us to write a story based on the picture. I wrote a murder mystery story and turned it in, and I figured new me let's try this.

Everyone in my class loved it and the short story was entered into a state competition in which I won the young writers award at thirteen(I was in middle school). My friends told me to write a book on wattpad, so I gave it a shot. I actually tried to write instead of hating creative writing and began to write LUTH.

3).Why do you write for?

Beauty4evar:I write to inspire others. So many author neglect the fact that writing is an art to expressoneself through, which I try my best to show. Inmy writings, I try to give strength to the young Muslims, you know trying to reassure them that Islam is relevant in the real world and it is a beautiful religion. I want my readers to be proud of their Muslim identity and educate non Muslims with their knowledge to help diminish ignorance in the mass media. The reads and views are just a bonus ;)

4).Tell us about your books,especially "A Diamond in Islam"!

Beauty4evar:Oh Lordy,I started writing ADII when I was about to turn fourteen and recently finished it acouple months ago. The book was my real serious attempt to write a novel that(In Shaa Allah)could be published in the future.

The story was created to depict the real struggles Muslimahs faced and to show that even the strongest Muslim is a victim to sins. Honestly,in the beginning I was going to not make my main character fall in love with Damon or even be with him.I didn't because I realized how many people would hate me if I did.That and I was too attached to the main characters >.<

5).What is your favourite book(s) on Wattpad?

Beauty4evar:Ghost Files by far.That book was my first wattpad book and it was honestly the best thriller ever.
The other books I like are from all different genres and I just love too many books to list out.Most of them are on my reading lists though.

6).Who is your favourite Author?Both in and out of Wattpad?

Beauty4evar:On wattpad I love greenwriter and sweetblunch,and Off wattpad,I love Sarah J. Maas (holding her book right now) Rick Riordon, Sabaa Tahir, and Umm Zaakiyah

7).How do you escape Writer's block?

Beauty4evar:I HATE WRITER'S BLOCK SO MUCH. Like I used to get it a lot more but not as much now.I literally close wattpad,open YouTube,and watch Arthur or some childhood TV show that I loved.(I'm a child at heart).

Reading also helps,The first time I had it was the last chapter of LUTH and my mom yelled at me to do the laundry,which I did as I watched Looney Tunes,and bam Daffy Duck gave me inspiration.

8).Do you recieve hate comments?if so,What is your response?

Beauty4evar:I actually do receive a small number of hate comments but most are very silly XD like this one girl told me I "mocked Islam and hijab" because my titles implied oppression by having the words Islam and Hijab on it. I honestly started laughing because it made no sense.

My response is usually just explaining to them orclearing misconceptions but some don't listen so I just delete their comments.

9).What is your advice to Wattpad writers?

Beauty4evar:

1) Keep writing and then revise/edit and rewrite.
No one's a perfect writer,hell,sometimes even my writing ego goes up and my teachers put me right down(like today >.<). Why? Because there's always room for improvement!

2) Please use basic grammar skills (capitalization, punctuations, spelling, commas)like I can't read books if there's not proper grammar.

3) Have a good plot before writing and don't label your story "not Your average cliche"when it actually is cliche.LIKE JUST LET IT BE CLICHE RELAX.Step back,breathe,and plan out your general plot structure.Make realistic characters with good dialogue.

4) Be Patient. I've been on wattpad for like three or four years,it takes time to get popular,and it takes a lot of work. Being #1 doesn't mean the story is great,having the most reads doesn't mean the book was well-written.Quality over quantity, guys.

10).How much has Wattpad impacted your life?

Beauty4evar:I can write essays on thirty minutes now under tight time restraints and get As. Basically, I canwrite a lot better than before which is why I keep editing my books a lot. Like I said write and rewrite are huge because I'm always improving.

11).Finally,Do you have a favourite one among your readers?

Beauty4evar:That's hard. I love all of my readers especially the really old fans I have that followed me back when I first stared.My readers are the ones who inspire me the most to keep writing. Each reader holds a special spot in my heart because without them,none of my books would exist.

What do you think I can do to improve my Interview?

Beauty4evar:Maybe ask the authors about where they're from or to give a brief description of themselves!
