Assalamualaikum and hey guys! So it's been long since I posted an interview and tbh,this one is almost a year in the making.

I lost my draft and we had to redo this interview at the last minute but still,it came out pretty great Alhamdulillah.It's none other than my dude,pal,bestfriend,instagram buddie and the shawarma-eating instagrandpa AffanSyed !

He have somehow managed to be my best friend and favourite author at the same time. Check out his incredible book "Embracing the Chaos" which got me hooked to it despite not being completed yet.

So let's go with tha intervieeeeeew!

#1|How did you discover Wattpad?

AffanSyed A cousin of mine introduced it to be, perhaps the best thing she ever did xD

#2|What inspired you to write?

AffanSyed I've been writing stuff since I've learnt to hold a pen. I and my co author always thought we should do something together and one day this idea came to me, so I discussed with him and we stayed writing!

#3|Your favourite books and authors?

AffanSyed out of wattpad is really difficult, it's unfair to name a few. On wattpad HopesPrayersNSmiles and KittyCrackers are my favorites. "winged dreams" has to be my favorite wattpad book.

#4|How do you deal with Writer blocks and other cons of being a writer?

AffanSyed writer's block isn't much of a problem for me, rather it's procrastination which is my biggest weakness. how do I deal with it? I don't xD

#5|Your favourite fictional character?

AffanSyed Anabya from "Bowled by the broken". I'd marry her if I could xD

#6|Is writing your dream career or do you have another profession in mind?

AffanSyed like I told you before, India's not there yet if you aren't among Top 5 writers in India, you have to have a job. I'm doing BBA and I'll do... BBA stuff to make money 😂

#7|Your favourite Surah and verse from Al Quran?

AffanSyed they're many but since you've asked to pick,I think Surah Mulk.

Verse - "Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find peace" Al Quran 13:28.

#8|Favourite nasheed and quran recitation?

AffanSyed Again, there are many but I think Omar Hisham Al Arabi's Qur'an recitations and Siedd's nasheeds deserve more popularity.

#9| Your advice to the beginning writers on Wattpad?

AffanSyed LMAO I'm a beginner myself. I realize that's not a great advice but yes, be excited, write what you're interested in and never ever, I repeat never ever get upset by less views or followers. if you're writing just for the sake of popularity, stop writing.

#10| You just started college this year and I'm a highschooler,can I get some piece of advice?

AffanSyed I didn't just start, I'm in second year xD. first of all, anyone who says you have to focus for just a year or two is lying. maintain that focus and dedication as long as you live and you shall prosper :p

#11| How much has Wattpad impacted your life?

AffanSyed like a friend would, a best friend.

#12|That one damn amazing best friend you've got from being on Wattpad?

AffanSyed I ain't answering that question, you aren't going to get the satisfaction you want xD

#13|Last but not least,a message you'd like to share with your readers?

AffanSyed This generation has a short attention span AND they have a lot of other options for entertainment like movies and TV series, so it's my dream to make reading fun again. I'd like my readers to keep reading for the joy of reading remains unmatched.
