"camila! lili! come here!" i hear madelaine call from cole's room. i look at cami from the kitchen and we quickly go to her and kj.
"what is it?" i ask.
"everything." kj mutters.
"we need to take it back to one of our places. now." cami demands.

"there are so many things.." i'm piling up the packets of polaroids that each have a label on it, a title and the amount of polaroids in each packet.
we have his phone set out on the table.
"yeah.." camila trails off, going through a little box which has random little things in it.
kj's piling up a bunch of journals that are labelled by month and year.
mads is sorting out cameras, "guys.."
"hm?"
"each camera has a name on it. four cameras. and on the bottom of each, it says.. 'for:' then one of our names."
"why would that be?" i ask.
"i guess..he wanted to give us cameras..?" camila says.
kj's staring at the journals in thought, and after being silent for a while, he finally speaks up, "have you ever.. thought about it?"
"about what? you gotta clarify." i reply.
"death." he's staring off into nowhere.
"i mean.. i'm pretty sure everyone thinks of it at one point in their lives. it's a natural part of life, you know?" camila answers, focused on the little trinkets in the box.
kj nods, and mouths something.
but i just can't figure out what it is.
then, he speaks up again, "it's getting late. why don't we all go to sleep? leave this for tomorrow?"
"we're getting so close, though," cami argues in confusion. "isn't this what you want?"
"yeah.. but, we could all use the sleep."
he makes a good point.
"alright." mads agrees, "i think it'd be good. lil, cami, mind if i crash here?"
"not at all," i smile. "you can sleep in a guest bedroom."
"thanks." she smiles back.
"you're welcome."
kj grabs his jacket.
"kj you can stay here too." cami offers.
"no, thank you, though. i'll go home."
"oh. okay, well.. bye."
"see you."
