Lin's P.O.V.

After Y/N and I were both done eating breakfast, we went back upstairs into her room to finish rehearsing. Even though I loved rehearsing, I really wanted to finish watching Titanic. I mean, I had seen it about 96,000 times before but, I still love watching it.

"Hey, Y/N, I was thinking, instead of rehearsing first, can we finish watching Titanic?"

"You know, I was kinda thinking the same thing. We both already know what happens but, it feels like it gets better every time. Do you even remember what part we were at?"

"Ummmm, I think we were at the part where Jack and Rose were doing the do."

"I remember passing up the part where Jack was drawing her so, you're probably right."

"Woah, did Y/F/N  Y/L/N just say that I was right!? WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE WORLD!?"

Y/N laughed at my comment, turned on the TV, then skipped to the part we were at in the movie. She sat down on her bed then, patted the empty spot next to her for me to sit in then, we began to watch the movie.

~ Time Skip ~

About 30 minutes after we resumed the movie, I had put my hand over Y/N's mouth so she would stop saying every single line when she then pushed my hand away from her mouth but, when she did that, she was still holding onto my hand. We stared at each other for a bit. I was looking into her light brown eyes and, I felt something that I had never felt before. I felt my face grow a bright red, my heart started to beat at a thousand miles an hour, and I felt intense butterflies in my stomach. I leaned in to kiss her but, she quickly let go of my hand, turned her head, then continued to watch the movie and, I did the same.

~ After the movie ~

Y/N's P.O.V.

After you and Lin finished the movie, you began to rehearse where you guys left off from last night. However, you couldn't exactly focus because of the fact that you and Lin almost kissed earlier. You didn't know why you pulled away but, you did know that you regret doing so. Even though he was your best friend, you couldn't stop your feelings for him. Ever since you two had to kiss for a school play earlier in the year, you came to the realization that you loved Lin. Not in the, "I love you like a brother" type of way but, in the, "I love you and, I want to be with you" type of way.

"Y/N? Y/N? Y/N!!"

Lin had snapped you out of your daze.

"Huh, what?"

"I think you were day dreaming haha."

"Day dreaming? Me? Never! I think YOU were day dreaming about ME day dreaming. Huh, clever, right?"

"Oh my gosh.... I hate you so much!"

Lin joked as he face palmed in an annoyed yet, humorous manner. You always had puns or bad jokes for EVERY situation and, it bothered Lin but, in the best way. He had a love/hate thing for your bad jokes. He loved them because, they would be so random. He hated them because sometimes, they made him cringe. You continued to make them because you liked annoying him. It was pretty much your job.

~ Oh lookie here, another time skip ~

"Okay so, you can come over tomorrow and, we'll go over our lines one last time before the show on Monday!"

"Yeah yeah yeah, that'd be great! Welp, I'll see you tomorrow Y/N."

"Byeeeeeee Lin!"

As Lin walked away, you did what you two always yell at each other when one was leaving the other which was,

"Siempre, Lin!"
and,
"Siempre, Y/N!"

Most best friends had handshakes, or called each other names when they would leave one another. You and Lin never really knew why you two would always say, "Siempre" to each other. One day, he randomly said that to you and, you said it back to him so, it just stuck! Lin was your always. He was your future. You loved Lin. The only problem being, you didn't want to ruin anything. You want to tell him about how you feel but, you don't know how he'll react. Maybe you should still keep it to yourself for a while.
