~ Three Months Later ~

Y/N's P.O.V.

It's been 4 months since you and Lin got together and, since you got the part for In The Heights. Each rehearsal became much more physical, and much more difficult. You and Lin both made sure to try your best to eat healthy as much as possible.

As time went by, Lin was getting stressed more than he usually was. He didn't really like to show it because, he never wanted you to worry about him. The thing is, you've known him your whole life so, no matter how hard he tried to hide it, you were the only person that could really be able to tell. Other than his parents of course.

After rehearsal one day, you went home then, decided to lay down on the couch and turn on the T.V. and, Lin went straight to his office. Since you had been there for about 4 months, Lin decided to have you move in with him permanently. While you were watching T.V., Lin was still in his office working and writing. You decided to get up and go to his office to talk to him.

"Knock, knock. Hey, Lin."

"Hey."

"Baby, what's wrong?"

"Nothing. I'm fine."

"No, you're not 'fine'. Come on Lin, I've known you my whole life, you're my best friend, I know when something is wrong. So, what's wrong?"

"I told you, I'm fine!"
Lin said as he raised his voice.

"Okay look, I know things have been getting stressful but, that DOES NOT give you permission to take it out on me. I have done NOTHING wrong to you so, drop the attitude."

"Babe, I don't have an attitude!"
You were both practically yelling at each other at this point.

"Yes you do! You've had one for the past 2 months! Every single day, we come home after rehearsal and, you come straight in here. I told you, I understand that you're stressed about the show but, baby, I'm right fucking here! You know you can talk to me about stuff like this! Stop shutting me out!"

"What's to shut out when you're not there anyway?"

"Not the- you know what, fine. Have it your fucking way then, Lin. I'm gonna go to Vanessa's."

"Don't leave!"

"Why!? Why shouldn't I? Huh, Lin? So we can just yell at each other even more? Until you get your shit together and realize that I AM here for you, I don't want to talk to you. So yes, I'm going to Vanessa's. I'll see you later this evening."

Lin got up and gave you a hug, even though you resisted slightly. You turned around and walked out of his office then grabbed your bag. Before you walked out, Lin went up to you to give you a kiss on your cheek but, you barely allowed him to do so and, turned your cheek the other way.

"When will you come back home?"

"I don't know, Lin. Sometime tonight."

"Be careful, please."

"I'll be fine."

"Okay, I believe you. I love you."
