Lin's P.O.V.
Ever since the last argument Y/N and I had, I had been trying my best to not be a complete ass all the time. I've been spending more time with her rather than being locked up in my office, I started making breakfast for her on days that I wake up first, and I've attempted on making dinner for her almost every night. I don't know why I had been treating her the way I have but, I do know that I never want to hurt Y/N. She's my everything. I love her more than I've ever loved anyone or anything before in my entire life. I just hate that all of this stress is getting in the way.
Rehearsals were getting really hectic. The choreography was getting intense and, A LOT of the cast was having a hard time with getting it right. Which was understandable because, In The Heights is a really physical show but, that still doesn't give an excuse for them to not practice on their own.
On days that Y/N and I didn't have rehearsal, we would go to the gym, workout, then go into the dance studio to rehearse our parts that we had together. For example, in The Club, Usnavi and Vanessa go on their first "date" and, they end up dancing with each other so, Y/N and I would rehearse that part in the studio and at home. Y/N had always been a better dancer than me so, she often caught on quicker than I did. But, I digress, she's pretty much good at everything.
~ 2 Months to Opening Night on Broadway, Rehearsal No. 75 ~
Y/N's P.O.V.
"No, no, no! It's left, left, right, left! NOT left, right, right, left! Come on people! Opening night is only 2 months away! We can't just get out there and wing it! This is BROADWAY! Everybody will be coming to see this show so, we have to be PERFECT! If not then, close to it! We can't afford to have little mistakes like this. Let's run it again!"
Lin yelled at the cast as you were rehearsing and going over The Club. Since it was the second hardest song in the show, choreography wise, most of the cast couldn't get it right. You and the rest of the cast started from the beginning of the song and, midway through, Andy, Lin, Tommy, and Alex L. stopped everyone.
"Guys! Either we get this right, OR we don't get it right AT ALL!"
"Lin, come on man, give us a break! We've been at it for 2 hours now! We're going to be tired!"
"Chris, you of all people should know that we HAVE to get this right!"
"Yes Lin, I DO know that. But, give us a fucking break!"
"Fine, whatever. Everybody, take an hour break. Be back IN HERE, ON STAGE, by 2:30. NO LATER THAN 2:30. Got it?"
"Got it."
The cast said all together."Go."
Lin sat down, got a drink of water, then began to rub his hand against his forehead in frustration.
"Babe, you of all people need this break. Just relax for an hour. Okay?"
"No, I'm fine."
"No, you're not fucking fine. Look at you! You're tired, love. I can see it in your eyes. So, come on, let's just go to your dressing room, okay?"
"Okay."
You grabbed Lin's hand, walked off stage, then headed towards his dressing room. When you walked in, you turned on the T.V. Lin had and, turned on the PlayStation 2.
"Baby, what're you doing?"
"Letting you relax. Come on, play some GTA."
