Y/N's P.O.V.

~ First Rehearsal ~

It was 9:45AM and, you were making your way to the theatre for your first rehearsal for In The Heights. Rehearsal didn't start till 10:30 but, you wanted to get there early to get settled into your dressing room.

As you walked up the stairs and into your dressing room, you saw that you had two people on both sides of you. The room on your left was for Karen Olivo and, the room on your right was for Mandy Gonzalez. You hadn't met any of the other cast members yet and, you were one of the only ones there at the theatre so, you had to wait to be introduced to everybody who was in the show.

While you were settling in, you were digging through your bag when you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist. Since you thought you were alone, you jumped, lightly screamed, and quickly turned around to see Lin. Your best friend and now, your boyfriend.

"Jesus Lin, you scared me!"

"Sorry love, I just wanted to surprise you."

"It's okay, I forgive you. I guess that can be your payback for me scaring you a few weeks ago. So now, we'll call it even."

"Even? Oh nooooo, not yet! I'm still plotting my revenge! Hm, you're still ticklish in the same spots, right?"

"Uhhhhhhh......no." You said nervously.

"Well, let's find out!"

Lin grabbed you and laid you down on the couch and began tickling you. He knew every single spot on your body that was ticklish. Your neck being the most ticklish spot. He moved his hands up to your neck and, ever so quickly, you grabbed his hands and stopped him. Tears of laughter were streaming down both of your faces. You sat up, gave Lin a hug, stood up, then finished setting up your room.

"What? No kiss? How RUUUUDE of you Y/N!"

"My grandest apologies sir!"

You walked back over to Lin, who was still sitting on the couch, and gave him a nice, long kiss. As you were kissing, Lin grabbed your waist, pulled you closer, and sat you on top of him. You wrapped your legs around him as he was still sitting down. Not moving his lips off of yours, he turned you on your back, laid you down onto the couch and began kissing your neck. You ran your fingers through his hair as he continued to move down your body. He moved back up to your lips and he began to get a tiny bit rough. He lightly and softly bit your bottom lip as you did the same to his. His lips were soft. They were warm. While you two were kissing, you heard the PA System go off and say,

"Rehearsal will begin in 10 minutes, everyone please make your way to the stage. Again, rehearsal begins in 10 minutes."

Lin pulled away and smiled at you. You sat up next to him, gave him one last kiss, stood up, grabbed his hand and, you two walked to the stage together.

Since nobody had seen who was playing which character, the first day of rehearsal was more of a "Meet your cast mates" type of rehearsal. You and Lin walked on stage and, everybody went silent when you did. The silence sent shivers down your spine, followed by chills on your arms. Did the cast not like that you and Lin were together? What was going on? A few seconds later, the crowd of actors and actresses on stage began cheering and clapping for you and Lin. One of Lin's best friends, Chris Jackson, who was playing Benny, came up to him and asked the question everyone was wondering. How did you two meet? When you two told the other cast members how you had been best friends for pretty much your entire life, all of the girls sat their with adored looks on their faces and, all the guys were giving Lin and you the nod of great approval.

"My boy Lin has got himself a good one!"

"Haha very funny, Chris."
Lin said while laughing.

"You know I'm just joking with you man, I'm really happy for you two. You guys make a really great couple."

Lin smiled and pulled you into a hug and gave you a quick kiss on your lips. That made all of the girls swoon and all of the guys whistled at you two.

"Alright, alright. Enough about mine and Y/N's relationship, I believe we should all say who we're playing and, what we're most excited about for this show!"

Cast member, after cast member, you grew very fond about who was playing who. Mandy Gonzalez, who you knew well, was playing Nina Rosario and, she fit the role perfectly. Andrea Burns was playing Daniela, Robin Jesus was playing Sonny, Olga Merediz was going to be in the role of Abuela Claudia, Carlos Gomez was Kevin Rosario, Priscilla Lopez was Camila Rosario, Janet Dacal was playing Carla, Eliseo Roman was playing Piragua Guy, Seth Stewart was going to be in the role of Graffiti Pete, and Karen Olivo was your main understudy for Vanessa! Karen took over the part every Sunday. You were not only excited about performing but, you were most excited for this new adventure you were about to start. This cast was going to very quickly become your family and, that's what you looked forward to the most.

Okaaaaay so, in this chapter, things between you and Lin got a little, I don't know, juicy? Ew, that sounds gross but, it's the only way I can describe it haha. So now you know who will be playing which character for the show!! This is gonna be A LOT of fun to write and, I'd like to think that I'm FAAAAR from finished with this story. Stay tuned!!
