chapter thirty eight

I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard a familiar voice shout at us, and I swivelled around on my heel quickly, smiling at the first person I saw...

I found myself running towards them, not caring if I looked crazy towards other people waiting. As soon as I reached Loren I pulled her into my arms, hugging her so tightly before pulling away, just to pull her into another hug.
" I'm so happy to be back! " She squealed, talking about how she was glad to be back visiting Texas again.
I laughed, now hugging Ethan tightly while Blake spoke to Loren. He laughed at me, squeezing me right before giving Blake a hug too.
" I'm so happy to be back with you guys " Ethan said, looking at us with a huge smile.
I nodded, looking behind him to see Hunter and Brandon, who ran towards me and instantly pulled me into the largest hug. I felt myself getting emotional, but I held in the happy tears and hugged them back tightly.
" I'm so happy I've finally met you guys! " I cheered, pulling away to look at the two brothers.
" me too! I've never even been to Texas " Brandon laughed, high fiving me.
Brandon turned to hug Blake, but him and Hunter seemed to be to involved in a conversation to even notice Brandon waiting.
As soon as Blake realised that he'd completely ignored Brandon he started laughing, soon pulling him into a friendly hug and talking about how great it was to finally meet.

I turned around anxiously, completely freezing when I saw Grayson wheeling his suitcase towards us. His eyes were darting from one place to another, before landing on me. I felt my lips curve up into a smile, and my eyes begin to water even more, just by seeing him stood at the other end of the room. He dropped his bag, as I found myself sprinting towards him, his smile the largest I've ever seen, besides the day that we met. As soon as I reached him I jumped into his arms, my legs wrapped around his torso as he hugged me tightly. I pulled my head back slightly, before leaning in and pressing my lips against his. The same feeling returned, the feeling I only get with him. He lowered me down to the ground slowly, never breaking the kiss as he did so. As soon as he pulled away he hugged me again, mhis hands never leaving my waist.
" I missed you so much, Lin " Grayson whispered, pulling away so he could look at me.
As soon as I locked eyes with him I felt like I was frozen. It was as if nobody else was there in that moment, no one in the whole world as I looked into his deep hazel eyes. I didn't even realise, but many tears had managed to escape. How did I not expect that to happen? I reunited with Grayson, of course I'm going to cry!! Why did I even bother with mascara?
" I'm so happy you're here " was all I could say, since I was still processing the fact that I was in his arms again.
I heard Blake call Grayson's name, laughing as he did so.
" are you gonna say hi to me, Gray? " Blake called out.
Grayson chuckled, taking my hand and walking towards Blake. He gave him a friendly hug, before opening Snapchat and holding his phone out. We took a big group selfie, all smiling widely, our facial expressions just proved how happy we were to be here together.
I took one on my phone, this time one of us all being stupid as we left the airport, throwing their luggage into the back of the car carefully.

As soon as we reached the house we brought everyone's suitcases up to the front door, pushing it open quickly and lining them up by the stairs. I called for my mom, expecting her to come down the stairs, but instead seeing Clara.
" hey Clar " I chuckled, as she jumped into my arms and stared at my friends in confusion.
" these are my friends... Loren and Blake, but you know them... this is Hunter, Brandon, Ethan and then Grayson " I introduced, pointing at each person.
" is Grayson your boyfriend? " She asked quietly, as a smile formed on Grayson's face.
" yeah, he is " I laughed, putting her down on the ground.
She instantly looked at Gray, who kneeled down to speak to her. She laughed at the face he was pulling, giving him a high five.
" do you have two boyfriends? " Clara asked, looking up at Ethan and then back at Grayson.
We all started laughing, which set her off too... even though she didn't know what we were laughing at.
" no, they're twins... this is his brother, Ethan " I repeated, and she nodded in response.
Ethan greeted her by picking her up, tickling her as he did so. She started laughing, until he placed her down with a smile.
" Mom! " I called again, as she appeared down the stairs with a large grin.
Her eyes focused on all of my friends, pulling each one in for a hug as they introduced themselves. She stopped at Grayson, smiling even wider.
" you're Adylin's boyfriend, right? " She asked, as if not knowing already.
She does know, she knows a lot. She watched all of their videos and researched him for gods sake!
" yeah, it's lovely to meet you Mrs Ross " Grayson smiled politely, as she held her hand over her heart in admiration.
" call me Dani, and it's lovely to meet you!! I've heard a lot about you " She beamed, pulling him into her arms for a hug.
He chuckled a little, hugging back before my mom stepped back and placed a hand on her hip.

In our house there's 5 bedrooms in total, since mine is on the third floor. It's quite a big house I guess, so there's plenty of room for everyone. We decided that Grayson would sleep with me of course, Loren and Ethan would share, Hunter and Brandon would since they're brothers, and then Blake can sleep on his own in the final room. Blake could just go home to his own house and sleep, but he wants to make the most of having our friends here, so why not? Some nights we might just set up pillows and blankets to camp out together in the living room too.

All I know is that these next two weeks are going to be amazing. But what am I dreading? The day that we have to go through the goodbyes, again.
