chapter twenty nine

I buried my face into my pillow, expecting the hotel room door to fly open any second. Grayson ended up changing his room, so he shares with me now. Poor Ethan is all alone, but I have a feeling he'll sneak Loren in eventually ;)
Just as I guessed, the door opened, revealing a tired looking Grayson who'd spent another day at playlist. I didn't have anything scheduled for today, so I stayed in my room and went down to the pool earlier. Even though he'd just been gone for the day, I really missed him. I've been spending the past couple days with him non stop, so what did you expect? I knew I'd get attached. Once he saw me his face lit up, a large grin growing from ear to ear. Just seeing that instantly made me get butterflies in my stomach, and I'm pretty sure they multiplied by a hundred when he embraced me in the most needed hug.
" I missed you today " He smiled, pecking my cheek sweetly.
" I missed you too, I think we should go out tonight " I suggested, as he nodded eagerly.
" lets go " Grayson chuckled, standing up and taking my hand.
I grabbed it, as he squeezed it reassuringly with a smile playing on his lips. I got my bag and room key, before leaving the hotel room with Grayson by my side.
" where are you guys going? " Blake yelled from down the hall, and I laughed at him.
" for food " Grayson yelled back, shaking his head and laughing.
" can I come? I don't want to be left with Ethan and Loren when they're flirting! " Blake said, making us laugh even more.
" but you'd prefer to be with a couple?? " I asked, raising a brow at him.
" that's true... have fun! " Blake replied, walking back into his hotel room.
Grayson and I exchanged a funny look, before continuing to head out of the hotel.

During the drive to the restaurant, I took the time to look at LA. Obviously we were in a car so I didn't get much time, but I could see the shining lights and busy streets. I loved the vibes that I got from this place, but the way I feel at home is like no other.
" what're you thinking about? " Gray asked, while looking out at the road carefully.
" LA... and home " I answered, turning to look at him and smiling at the perfect view.
It was already dark, and the dim lighting made his jawline look ten times more prominent than it already does. His muscular arms kept flexing as he turned the wheel, and I stared in awe of how someone could create such a beautiful human being. One day I'm going to meet his mom, and I really should thank her for bringing such a beauty into the world ;) It's upsetting knowing that I'd never be able to meet his father, and I can only imagine how Ethan and Grayson must feel right now.
" what? " he chuckled, obviously fazed by my staring, though I hold no shame.
" I was just wondering how two people could create such a piece of art " I joked honestly.
He smirked, gripping onto the steering wheel tighter. Damn, that looked hot.
" well, I could say the same but it'd be a lie " Grayson began, and I slapped his chest playfully.
Ouch, that was rock solid.
" I'm kidding, you're fucking beautiful, Lin " He smiled, focusing on the road in front of us again.
I smiled to myself, looking out of the window before returning back to the much better view. Everything about him is so perfect, everything.
" One day I want to come to Texas, and I can meet your mom and Clara " Grayson beamed, making my heart flutter.
" they'd love you... I've told them a lot about you and me " I smiled, making him grin.
" like what? " he asked, wiggling his perfectly shaped eyebrows.
" like how we met through youtube and my video, and how I had a huge crush on you for so long " I laughed.
He nodded, moving his head up and down to the beat of the music. He looked adorable, as he danced and sang along to the lyrics of make daddy proud by Blackbear.
I pulled out my phone, recording it for my Snapchat story and saving it to my memories too. I know I'll want to go back and watch that video one day, and I'll for sure smile at his cuteness.

Once we reached the restaurant we went inside, finding a table and ordering our food. Grayson obviously wanted pizza, and I went with the same, because who doesn't like pizza? As soon as our food arrived I snapped a cute photo of Grayson, posting it on my Snapchat story. I already know how people are going to react, because the rumours are already going crazy about our relationship since Grayson posted that photo, but we can do what we want! We're not hiding our relationship from our viewers or followers, we just haven't made it official to them yet. If they think negatively of our relationship, they're not true supporters. If they were they'd want us to be happy, and in this case... we're both really fucking happy.
" what should we do after this? " Grayson asked, before taking a bite out of his pineapple pizza.
" I'm not sure, anything " I shrugged, as he smiled.
" anything? " he smirked, and I rolled my eyes.
" well it depends now " I laughed.
" how about we go to the pier... and we can go on the rides " He suggested.
" you want me to throw up my pizza? " I joked, making him laugh.
I took another bite, before nodding my head at what he'd suggested.
" I'd love to go to the pier " I added, taking a sip of my Coca Cola.

The adventures clearly never end with this boy, but guess what? I love adventures. And Grayson is just one himself.

He's an adventure that I can never get enough of...
