Jessica's POV
Tinawag na ako ni Ken para pumunta na sa likod ng bahay dahil andun na daw sina Anyssa with our friends na din. Pagkarating na pagkarating ko sa likod ng bahay ay kompleto na talaga sila at marami na rin pagkain na nakahanda kasali na dun ang barbeque na paaborito namin nina Dan at Ken.
"Jess hi." Bati ni Roxie
"Hello." Bati ko rin
"Narinig ko na naghiwalay na raw kayo?" tanong ni Roxie
"Oo, kanina pa lang." sagot ko naman
"Naku, kalimutan mo na yung gagong yun. Alam mo halata rin naman sa mukha nya na nagsisinungaling sya sayo." Ann
"Anuba ba kayo. Halika na let's just celebrate." Sabi ni Ken
And then suddenly, someone press the doorbell outside.
"Wait, I'll open it." Sabi ko
"No, let me." Sagot ni Dan
"Ahh.. eh Jess.. ah, samahan mo naman ako sa kwarto mo di ko pa yun nakita eh." Ann
"You sure? We've been there last week with Roxie na" sagot ko
"I mean I missed your room already." Sagot nya
"Oh, okay." Then I answered

Roxie's POV
"Guys, ready na ba yung mga gamit para sa surprise ni Jess?" I asked
"Yeah, andito na. Muntik na tayo kanina ha?" ani Ken
"Yeah, almost buti naman at nakita ni Ann na papunta na si Jess dito nang hinanda natin to." Anyssa
"Hi guys!" John greeted
"John, I thought you're not coming here?" tanong ko
"I am, tsaka I'm with Elly." He said
"So where's she?" I asked
"Oh, she's in the car. She gets shy when she saw Ica's cousin." He said
"Who's Ica?" tanong ni Ken
"Ahh, Ken si Jessica yung tinutukoy nya. Actually samin lahat magkakaibigan dito only John called Jessica "Ica""". Sabi ko naman
"So ano na hinintay natin dito? Let's just prepare before Jess will came." Dan said
"Okay." I said, and then we all prepared for Jess' 18th birthday celeb.
"Wait, diba it's Jess' 18th birthday? Bakit ganito yung handa hindi ba sya magparty or something?" tanong ni Jayein
"Actually, tita told me a while ago that we should just celebrate Ica's birthday now and then the party would be on the next Saturday because her dad will came, and also that's why tita is not here to celebrate with us because Angelica and tita prepared everything for Ica's birthday." Paliwanag ni John and then they all opened their mouth as if they only noticed John na ganyan talaga magsalita lagging naka'English.
"Mind if I asked." Sabi ni Ken
"Hi guys, I'm here." Singit ni Elly, and then they we're really shocked as they saw Elly.
"What?" taking tanong ni Elly
"Don't mind them Elly, ganyan lang talaga sila. Pati nga si John ganyan sila eh." Paliwanag ko
"Oh, okay. So where's Jess?" pagkatanong na pagkatanong ni Elly ay nagising silang lahat para sa handa. Banderetas na may nakasulat na Happy Birthday at iba ibang surprise gift and things for Jess.
And after a couple of minutes, we're really done finally and I went upstairs to call Ann and Jess, at sila ay nasipaghandaan na sa kanilang pwesto para pagkarating na pagakarating ni Jess ay maiputok na nila ang party poppers at sabay sabay na magsasabi ng Happy Birthday at kakanta.
At ako naman, paakyat na sa taas para tawagin ang dalawa kong kaibigan. Mga pinakamamahal kong kaibigan.
Jessica's POV
"Ann, let's go downstairs na kasi, I'm hungry na oh. Tumunog na yung tyan ko really." Sabi ko
"Sandali lang gusto ko pa humiga ditto namiss ko to." Sagot nya
"Then I'll leave you here na lang I'm hungry na kasi." Sabi ko
"sanda..." naputol yung sabi ni Ann when someone knocks the door.
"Jess? Ann?" it's Roxie, and I immediately open the door.
"Roxie." I said
"Let's eat?" sabi nya
"Okay." Sagot ko, and then we go downstairs but Roxie blindfolded me.
"What's this for?" I asked, then no one answered me and eave me behind.
May lumapit sa akin at parang pamilyar yung amoy nya.
"John? Is that you?" tanong ko
"I guess I should change my cologne, you already know who I am because of my smell." He said
"It's okay, para namamn lagi kong malalaman if who are you." I said
"It's up to you." Sabi nya
"Ano ba ginagawa nyo sakin?" tanong ko
"Nothing. We just having some fun you know." He answered
"Okay." I said
And then I finally heard them singing a Birthday song. I almost forgot that it was my birthday. How could this thing happen. And then John removed the blindfold.
"Happy 18th Birthday my princess." John said
"How could you do this?" I aksed
"Ann, is this what you said you want to go upstairs and being so hard to invite to go here because they prepared everything?" I asked
"Yes. Sorry, Jess." She said
"It's okay. Gusto ko rin naman to." I said
"Blow now your candles." John said, and then I blew it
This day was the best. With my friends, childhood friends, and also my cousins. I did not expect this thing happened on my birthday. It's my birthday then I broke up with a man. I'm already 18 years old. It's my legal birthday. I thank God for this another year of life. With such kind and nice people around me. I am so blessed this following days because our friendship with John and I, no one ruined it and no one hesitating it also. Thanks God for everything.
