100 YEARS LATER

"I can't believe it took Shawn this long to put a ring on Rosie's finger. You were more than eager to put a ring on mine Mr Taylor."

Corey chuckles as we spin around the dance floor at Shawn and Rosie's wedding, "you've met Shawn, he doesn't think the same way as normal people. But at least they're both happy."

I throw my head back and laugh, "And you're still cheesy as fuck Corey."

"May I have this dance lovely lady?"

Sid taps Corey on the shoulder and I pull away from my husband and take Sid's hand. Corey pouts like a child as Sid whisks me off to another part of the dance floor. Sid and I were still close as ever and thick as thieves, we always spoke on the phone and met up whenever we could much to Corey's annoyance. But I reassured Corey that Sid was nothing more than a friend.

"I think Corey wants to kill me Fae, he's staring."

I glance over Sid's shoulder as he twirls me around and see Corey glaring at us. I shake my head.

"He's jealous that you're a better dancer than he is Sid."

The rest of Slipknot and their partners, yes one hundred years had passed and most if not all of Slipknot had vampire mates were also on the dance floor or sitting at some of the tables around the ballroom. Sid and Craig remained the only single members and the rest of us vowed to find them someone special.

Slipknot had continued after my coming back from the dead, they released an album in Paul's memory called .5 The Gray Chapter and it was a big success that allowed them to tour the world again. They released a further three albums over the span of ten years but decided to call it quits because they didn't age and people might get suspicious.

Corey and I moved to Nevada and the rest of the band members went their own way. Though they did keep the second house in Iowa which we used to meet up on special occasions such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. The hunters had left us alone which was nice, sure they popped up every now and then to make sure we were still playing by the rules but they left as soon as they saw we were playing nice.

"I think I'm going to return you to your husband Fae before his eyes burn a hole in the back of my head."

Sid hands me back over to Corey who immediately perks up earning an eye roll from me, he could be a big child sometimes.

"Stop scaring Sid."

"Never, it's too much fun to watch him squirm Fae."

There was no way I was getting through to him tonight, maybe give it another fifty years or so. Then a wicked idea forms in my head.

"If you don't stop scaring Sid you won't be getting any of me for a very long time understood?"

Corey's eyes widen in horror at the mere thought of not being able to have sex with me, "okay, you win woman. You need to stop using sex against me."

I laugh and peck him on the cheek, "never, it's too much fun to watch you squirm Corey."
