I begin to walk down the road. A man riding a cart stops me. "Where ya going soldier?" I stop walking and look at him. "Fort Briggs." He pats down next to him. "Hop on. I'll give ya a ride." I look at the winter wasteland then back at him. Then I climb up and sit down. "Thanks."

"Now, you are all well aware of my plans..and that i'm going to need help executing them." They all nod. "And knowing the nature of my plan, you all know what kind of trouble we could get ourselves into by doing this.." I pause. "So, if anyone if not 100% willing to take orders that may lead them into trouble, there's the door." No one leaves. "Right then, I have an idea of what I want done, but does anyone have any suggestions as to how we should go about this?" I get a few empty stares then Ed speaks up. "Why don't we just kill her?"

"No. That's entirely out of the question."

After a long ride of silence the man stops at a fence. "Sorry, I can't go any farther. Fort Briggs is a mile up that way." He points past the fence at a mountain. "Thanks." I hop off the car and the man leaves. I swing my back pack over me shoulder and begin to talk towards one of the mountains.

Ed grunts and slumps down in his chair.

"What if we some how got you to become her right hand man?" L suggests.

"That way you'd be close to her and maybe you could find a weak spot on her and talk her into resigning. Then you'd be next in line for head of everything." I seriously consider this. "Not a bad idea..but the only problem would be getting her to trust me that much."

"I'm tired of just seeing snow." I growl, I look down at my arm. "What was hell is wrong with this thing? I can't move my automail..." I try and move it but the joints were disconnected. "Great." I frown and continue to walk. "They might as well have sent me to a desert because this fucking sucks."

L taps his finger on the table and thinks for a moment.

"How does she trust you now?" Near asks.

I laugh. "You're implying that she already trusts me somewhat."

He nods. "So what you need to do then is actually gain some trust."

I nod. "Yeah, but that's kind of hard given my history with her already.."

"I'm sure you of all people could manage a way to gain her trust."

I sigh. "Alright. That's my top priority right now then."

I look straight ahead and see a gigantic wall. "Holy shit." I approach the fence that stands almost as tall as the wall. A spot light shines on me and an alarm sounds. "This brings back some not so good memories..." Next thing I hear is the clicking of guns. "Put your hands on your head!" Someone orders over the intercom. I do as I was told and the fence opens. A tall man walks over to me. He has a scar stretching across his face. Four men follow him and he stops in front of me. "Address yourself soldier!" He orders.

We keep talking and suddenly someone catches my eye as they enter the shop. I narrow my eyes. "Shit." I say under my breathe. A girl with white hair looks over at me and grins. She walks over to us and glares at me. "Hey, Amelia."

I grit my teeth. "Hey, Soul." She looks over at everyone at the table. "Who're your friends?"

"Any reason why you're here Soul?"

Ed eyes her. 'Is she a threat..?'

I stiffen up. "Jack Skelli, sir. I've just been transferred from central." He narrows his eyes and looks at me. "Oh yes. Your serving on the front line yes?" I nod "yes sir."

Ronny puts his hand on Souls shoulder. "Soul don't be rude. Can't you see the adults are talking." He smiles.

Soul smirks and steps back from the table and walks outside. "Sorry, i'll leave you to it." I glance at Ronny. "Thanks," I say.
