The next morning everyone was awoken and brought outside. "If you are going to fight your going to have to with stand the freezing cold temperatures." A man takes our jackets then leaves us. "I. Hate. Everything."
The next morning I start to feel a little dizzy but I stable myself. I close my eyes and hold my head. "Man, what was that..?" I open my eyes and my irises are slightly golden.
"This is bullshit. How could they do this?" Growls Cloud. "I guess we need to get use to the weather. I'm freezing my ass off. My automail doesn't help this situation at all."
I go back to see L at the bar and he hands me a file and an I.D. "Lillian Gold," I say with a smile. "I like it, thanks for your help, L." He stares at me for a second. "Yeah no problem...Let me know if there's anything else I can do." I nod. "I will," I turn and leave. 'Something's not right with her..'
"Cloud your finger tips are blue." Cloud looks at his finger. "Fuck. How long are we gonna have to stand out here?" I sigh and look down at the snow. "I can't feel my leg."
I stuff my I.D in my pocket and go buy a plane ticket to Seattle. I go to the airport early and sit down in the terminal. 'Let's see who this guy is..' I open the file and start reading. 'Gilbert James Tallen. Born November 10th in Seattle, Washington. He is the sewing life alchemist. Widowed. Lost his wife Jillian Tallen two years ago due to the fact that she was murdered. Killer was never caught. Now lives with his only daughter Nina.' I close the file. "Sewing life alchemist..."
About an hour later the general comes out. "How's it come ing soldiers?" No one says anything. He laughs "inside!" A man hands is our jackets back and leads us inside. For the next few hours we practiced shooting. Then Cloud and I were escorted to an empty room. "What are we suppose to do in here?"
People start filling into the terminal and soon after we all board the plane. I take my seat and stare out the window. A women sits next to me and looks over at me with a cheerful smile. "Looks like we'll be plane buddies." I nod, trying to look friendly. "Yeah..I guess so."
"Fight." A voice says over the intercom. I glare at Cloud. "I don't know how I could. I can't transmute around him." "That's the reason you won't fight me? I see where our friendship stands."
I put in my headphones and lean my head against the window. The plane jerks forward and we take off. I stare out the window at the clouds and close my eyes, starting to drift off. "So, why are you going to Seattle?" Says the very perky girl. I sigh in annoyance and glare at her. "I'm visiting someone."
"Plus I don't want to fight him..." "Fight or your see will be extended!" "Your joking!" "Fight.." "I'm not gonna fight h-" next thing I know Cloud punches me In the face. "Hey! What the hell?!" "I'm not staying here for an extra five months!" Cloud yells. "Fine!" I swing my leg out and knock him on his back.
I turn back to the window and block the girl out for the rest of trip. A few hours later we arrive in Seattle. I step off the plane and take a breathe. "Smells like rain." I smile.
Cloud kicks me in the stomach and slid back. 'Damn it why do they us to do this?' I punch him in the face then grab his arm and twist it around his back. Then I kick the back of his knees and slam him down to the floor.
I check into a hotel near Gilbert's house and settle in. I grab the phone and dial Armstrong's number.
"Major Armstrong speaking."
"Good evening, Major. It's Amelia. I've made it to Seattle."
"Good, proceed with your mission. Keep my updated."
