'Okay Soul, I'm in the left corner behind you guys just relax.'

'Alright, got it.'

In the center of the room is a large, black, round table. At the end of the table sits President Hughes, around him are his guards. He stands up and walks over to me. "President Hughes." He extends out his hand. "Major Koy." I say shaking his hand. 'You're doing good so far, keep your cool.'

"Shall we?" He says motioning to the chairs. I nod and take a seat. Soul stands next to me and stays quiet. "So, Major Koy..to what do I owe the pleasure of meeting with an Amestrian leader?" He smirks.

I clear my throat. "Well, I'd like to make a amends President Hughes," I keep his gaze. "And become allies."

'So far so good. You guys are doing great'

He stays quiet for a moment. "Allies?" He glares at me. "And what makes you think we'd want to be allies with Amestria?"

"It'd be less work for both of us Mr.President. Instead of fighting with each other we could combine our resources, our troops even, and be the most powerful people out there. We'd be unstoppable."

'She's doing better than I expected.'

He nods slightly. "Power does sound appealing. But we just went to war with you not very long ago. I'm not sure if I trust you right now."

"That's understandable. But if you can't trust me how come you're still listening to me?" I smirk.

'She's doing really good...'

"You a good point, Miss Koy. But what else would we gain from this? Power isn't enough to convince me."

I shift uncomfortably. "You'd have more soldiers at your dispense. You wouldn't lose as many people this way if were to go to war."

He leans forward. "I can have them replaced in a heart beat. Men don't matter to me."

'I didn't think it'd have to come to this..' I take a deep breathe and straighten up. "Mr.President, you have a daughter on the correct?"

His eyes widen. "Correct..."

I smirk. "Say we didn't join forces and we ended up going back to war. You've already lost a great deal of men and if i'm correct, you don't have anyone to replace them yet. So you, yourself may have to go into battle. Thus being more vulnerable to die. Would you want to die and leave your daughter with no father? Your wife with no husband?"

He sits back and I can tell this has definitely caught his attention. He takes a moment then clears his throat.

"I accept your offer Major Koy."

'Wow... didn't see that coming. Nice one.'

Soul grins and walks over to him. She sets a clipboard down in front of him and hands him a pen. "If you'd please sign this Mr.President." He takes the pen and signs the paper. She collects the clipboard and I stand up. "Thank you for your time Mr.President. It was a pleasure to meet you." He nods and stands up. "Likewise Major Koy. I'll be in touch." I nod and we leave.

Ronny waits for you guys outside. "That went a lot better then I thought it would."

"I honestly didn't think that would work." I look down at my shaking hands. "I was really nervous." Soul smiles. "You pulled it off though, that's what matters." I smile. "Thanks for coming guys."

"Of course. Happy to help. You guys ready to leave?"

Soul nods. "Yeah, let's go." I nod. "Yeah, come on." I start walking. "Hey, has anyone seen Jack?" I look back at the two of you. Soul shakes her head. "Not since yesterday."
