The next morning I was awaken to my bed being pushed over. "What the hell?!" Standing over me and Cloud was general Buque. "Wake up. Your leaving for battle now." He grins.

I roll over and groan as the sunlight slips through the curtains and casts itself over me. I sigh and sit up. I get up and find Georgia in my room. "What the hell!?" I yell. "What are you doing in here!?"

She smiles. "Good morning sleeping beauty, it's time to get to work."

"That doesn't answer my question."

The general grabs my collar and pulls me up. "We are sending you guys off as soon as possible." He pushes me towards the door and Cloud and I walk out. "What's up with him?" Cloud asks, I shake my head. "Nothing..."

"You were asleep and I have nothing else to do so I let myself in. That's all." She walks over and hands me a cup of coffee. "We leave in five." She smiles and walks out. I sigh and grasp the warm coffee cup. 'Why do I always end up with the creepy ones...' I drink the coffee and start to feel dizzy. "Ah.." I grab my head and squeeze my eyes shut. "Damn, these headaches are getting bad.." I open my eyes and they're more golden than before.

We reach a big opening in the wall. A group of men follow us, we are given guns and supplies. Then we were loaded up into a huge truck. The north side of the wall opens up revealing a frozen wasteland. "Why does the winter look worse on this side of the wall?" Someone mutters.

I groan and reluctantly climb out of bed and get ready. I walk out of the room with my hair in my face and a new cup of coffee. "Ready Miss Koy?"

"Amelia. Call me Amelia." I say walking past her. 'I feel like an office worker. I hate this.'

We drive for a few hours but then the truck stops. We all get off. "No ones here." There was nothing but white snow and mountains. "Jack. Make us a trench." Our platoon leader orders. After Cloud steps away I stomp my foot and a trench in put into the ground. Then men hop in and get set up. Barbed wire is set up in front of the trench. "Look at the mountain." Cloud points at the peek of the mountain. We look up and see some figures moving. "They're scouts. They know we are here now..." Someone says.

Georgia looks over at me with a cheesy smile. 'That's right..keep drinking that coffee..'

I look at her. "What?"

"Nothing, nothing."

We arrive at Tallens house and he leads us to the basement.

"I've been looking into your wife's murder..i've found a small lead that points to a man named Eric Watson..does that name sound familiar at all?"

He shakes his head. "No.."

"Well they were going to find us anyway. It's not like we are blending very well in these black uniforms." "It's almost like they want us to be seen" I mutter. We set up camp inside the trench.

I sigh and lean back in my chair. 'He's not helping any..'

"Can you tell my anything else that might help me out here?"

He thinks for a minute and glances over at Georgia. "Well there is one thing.." He smirks. "Now." He orders.

"Wha-" suddenly Georgia lunges toward me and pushes me to the floor. "Don't struggle you'll just make things harder." She grins and holds a cloth over my mouth. My vision goes blurry and I pass out.

We waited there for awhile but nothing seemed to happen. "If this is what war is I think we might be okay." Cloud smiles. Just then a bomb flies down and hits the trench. Half of the supplies was engulfed in flames. I hear someone scream in pain and I run over to the supplies but it was you late. The man had fallen to the ground burn to a crisp. 'What type of bombs could they be using that someone could burn that quickly..?' Cloud grabs my shoulder and pulls me away from the flames. "What the hell's that matter with you?!" He screams. Another bomb comes flying down. I stomp on the ground and rock comes up attempting to make a dome around us but I couldn't make it in time. The next bomb hits a few feet away from us. The blast sends us flying out of the trench. Cloud hits his head so hard he gets knocked out. I run over to him. "Cloud!!! Wake up!! Come on!!!" Our platoon leader runs up to me and picks Cloud up. "He's fine!! Give us some cover!!" I look over at the other men in out group and setting up the me give gun and begin to fire. I stomp my foot on the ground as hard as I can and a gigantic wall rises up. Almost as big as Fort Briggs. The bombs keep coming attempting to break through the wall. I fall to my knees and look down at the snow. Cloud wakes up and walks over to me. "Are you okay?" I nod. "Yeah, are you?" He runs his head. "I'll be alright." We sit there in silence for a moment. "Thanks...for helping me back there in the trench." I mutter. Cloud smiles and sits down next to me. "We're like brothers. We have to stick together." I smile, "I've always wanted a brother..." "Alright that's enough of that." Our platoon leader pulls me up, "make another trench." I stomp my foot on the ground and another trench appears. "How many fatalities?" He asks, a man walks up him and counts heads. "Five." He shakes his head. "Damn it...we aren't ready for this at all..."
