Sympathy

My eyes widen and I bite my lip. Ronny looks at Soul then Amelia. "What do we do boss?"

I look over at Demo. "Trost is quite a ways from here..so it would keep them safe.." I glance around the room. "But I can't leave my job..so if we were to go, it'd only be you three who went." I face you all. "But it's up to you wether or now you want to go."

"Well I'm not going to go if you can't Soul don't." Ronny smirks.

I sigh and smile. "Sorry, Demo but it looks like we're staying." She nods. "Alrighty, well i'll continue my work here then." She walks toward the door. "Gimme a ring if you need me." I nod. "Alright, thanks." She gives a salute and leaves.

"She really saved us...I'm sorry Amelia." Ronny mutters.

"Don't apologize," I smile. "You did all you could, that's all I ask from you."

Ronny rubs the back of his head. 'I really messed up today huh? Are you alright?'

Soul sighs and flops down on the bed. 'No you didn't, don't stress yourself out over it.' I look over at you and frown a little. "You okay, Jack?"

Ronny sits down on the floor, a ball of black smoke appears on his shoulder. Alikai pops out of the smoke. "So...how'd it go?" Ronny shakes his head and Alikai sighs. "It'll be okay."

I glance over at you. "Yeah, I'm fine nothing happened to me."

I sit down next to you. "I know, but still.." Soul reaches over and picks up the phone. "I think we all need some pizza.."

"Soul, we literally just ate pizza." Ronny says. "How come you didn't go with her?"

"Well we're gonna eat it again." She laughs a little and punches in some numbers on the phone and orders a pizza.

"I couldn't risk anything else bad happening.." I frown.

"It would be taking a league of absence. You could have Armstrong step in for you. Oh well. It doesn't matter anymore."

"I thought about that, but that would be a bad move on my end considering all I did for this stupid job..besides, I can barley handle people, if I went to Trost i'd be dealing with Titans as well as people." I sigh. "But yeah, it doesn't matter now.."

"Well...what's your next move?"

I sit criss-crossed and bite my lip. "I think i'm gonna finish looking into some stuff.." I stand up and walk toward the door. "Hey, wait! You're gonna miss the pizza party." Soul frowns. "More pizza for you then." I open the door and leave.

"Because looking into it was what go us into this whole mess." Alikai mutters. "Quiet. Let her be." Ronny commands.

I glance back at Alikai. "But looking in this may be what helps us." I smirk and walk out the door. "She's nuts." Soul smiles.

"Psh...yeah she is." Ronny glares at Alikai and flicks him in the head. "Ow..." "Be nice."

I stand up and follow you out. "I'll come."

I nod. "I just need to grab a file real quick." I walk out of the building. "But last time I tried to get it Buque was there.." I sigh and glance at my shoulder.

"Well...if it makes you feel any better I'll be here this time."

"It does." I give a half smile. We get to Central's library and I glare the building. "Ready?"

"Yep." I nod and follow you in. "What file are you looking for?"

"The file on B3..." I whisper. I look around, keeping an eye out for anyone. I walk to the back of the library and go to the bookshelf where I found the file.
