Sarabi's POV

A week later...

I always end up just hanging out with my mother Dwala these days.
Sarafina has been very busy because she is now in the hunting party.
Mufasa is also usually busy with his training to be King, and when he's not training, I am training to become Queen.

"Are you alright?" Asks my mother who is laying beside me on a flat rock.

"Yes I'm fine. Why do you ask?" I say confused.

"Because this morning and yesterday, you vomited!"

"Well I feel fine...I'm not sure why that happened." I'm really not sure why.

"I think you and I should visit Rafiki."

"How come?"

"Because I need to know if my baby girl is alright."

"Mom I'm an adult now." I whined.

"Alright but I'm still coming with you." She gets up and starts walking.

"Where are you going."

"We are going to go to Rafiki's tree and see if he can find out what is going on with you."

"Right now?" I ask.

"Well are you busy doing anything at the moment?" She questions.

"No."

"Then lets go." She hurried in front leading the way.

When we arrive at Rafiki's tree my mother calls out. "Rafiki!"

Suddenly the leaves begin to rustle and then I notice a wise mandrill who is named Rafiki swinging his way down to greet us.

"What may I do for you two lovely lionesses today?" Asks the baboon.

"My daughter Sarabi seems to be vomiting quite a lot lately." Says my mother.

"I see... come on inside Sarabi, and I'll see what I can do."

I follow Rafiki inside while my mother stands outside waiting.

"Sit." Rafiki says to me.

I sit down.

"Now...what do you think is causing this?"

"I'm not sure, maybe it's a stomach bug."

"Hmmm." He thinks for a moment then he picks up a stick that has some sort of fruit attached to it.

"What is that for?" I ask nervously. I've never really liked getting check ups.

"You'll see. But you must lay down first."

I lay down on my side. He then shakes the stick over my belly. It makes a rattling sound.

"What do you think you ate that caused this?"

"Nothing different to my usual diet."

He puts his hands on my stomach.
"That's odd."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong, but there seems to be a different heartbeat inside of you that is not yours."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Sarabi what have you and Mufasa been up to lately?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Because you are pregnant."

I froze shocked at the words that he said.
I stood up. "Are-are y-you sure?"

"I am positive."

"W-what am I going to do? I'm too young!"

"You're not too young Sarabi. You are an adult."

"This is all happening too quickly. What am I going to do?"

"First of all you need to calm down. And second, you need to go and tell Mufasa. He should be the first to know."

"Oh no-no he'll freak out if I tell him now."

"I honestly doubt that he will freak out as much as you are right now. I'm sure dat he'll be thrilled."

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely."

"Okay."

"Now off you go!" He said lightly shoving me out.

"Um...thank you." I said while leaving his tree.

I am now outside where my mother was waiting for me. "Did you find out what caused it?" My mother asked while we made our way back to Pride Rock.

"Um...he just said that I have a tummy bug."

"Well that's good. I'm glad it's nothing too serious."

I know what you're thinking... why did I just lie to her?
I didn't want to tell her the truth because I wanted Muffy to be the first to know.

When we got back home, I saw Muffy arriving back from training with his father.

"Muffy!" I yelled out.

He turned his head and smiled as he noticed me coming up to him. He ran towards me and greeted me. I did the same and nuzzled into his mane.

"What's up?"

"I need to tell you something." A tear escapes my eye and slides down my cheek.

"What's wrong?" He asks as he wipes the tear from my face.

"Come with me."

He follows me until we are out of sight from everyone. I stop and sit facing him.

"What is it?" He says as he sits in front of me.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?" Muffy asks me with a confused facial expression.

"It's all my fault. I should never have
suggested to-."

He cuts in between my sentence."To what?"

Muffy then comes over and wraps his arms around me. "You can tell me."
