Sarafina's POV

Three days later...

I'm so excited because today is my first day of becoming lead huntress. I know what you're thinking.
How did that happen? I thought Adia was lead huntress!
My mother, Adia decided that it was time for her to retire and finally let me step in and take her place.

I met up with the hunting party nice and early so we could get to work right away.

"Alright ladies! We're going after some hippo today because we need something different since it's Sarabi, and Prince Mufasa's wedding today. We will need a large one too if we're going to feed the whole Pride."

Everyone did as they were told and when we were finished, we delivered the food.

I had now arrived at Pride Rock, and noticed that the ceremony was about to start. I quickly cleaned myself off then went to find Sarabi.

"Sarafina you're late!" Yelled my best friend.

"Geeez Sarabi I was just cleaning myself off. What has gotten you all stressed out?"

"You wouldn't understand! Just go and get ready!"

"Okay." And with that I left to take my place ready for the ceremony.

I took my place where there wasn't many others because they only wanted close friends and family there.

"Psssst...Sarafina, where is Sarabi?" Asked Rafiki a mandrill who is going to be marrying them.

"She's stressing out."

"What?" Asked Mufasa. "Did she mention why?"

"No she just said that I wouldn't understand."

"I'll go check on her." He said then began to run and find her.

Mufasa's POV

I found Sarabi sitting there taking deep breaths and giving herself a pep talk. She looked absolutely stunning. She was wearing a head piece covered in beautiful white flowers.

"Wow..." Is all I said.

"Muffy you're not supposed to see me before the wedding! IT'S BAD LUCK!"

"Why have you been here the whole time? Everyone's been waiting for you out there."

"Are you sure we're doing the right thing?"

"Of course we are. But if you don't want to get married then we can be one of those couples that just have a cub together. I'll do what ever you want and I'll go with you wherever you want to go. Just tell me what YOU want."

"I want to marry you."

"Okay...its settled. We are going to go out there together and we are going to get married."

"Let's do this!"

Sarafina's POV

After the wedding...

The whole Pride had just finished eating the hippo that the hunting party had caught this morning. Everyone is now resting in the sun.
I can see Mufasa and Sarabi snuggling up to each other under a shady tree. My mother is sitting with Sarabi's parents chatting away. There is a group of lionesses gossiping together. And the King and Queen are patrolling the lands.
Looks like everyone is busy doing something... except for me.
Maybe I will go and say hello to Sarabi and Mufasa and congratulate them.
