you finally came to school, today,
my love.we even met in the hallway, today.
i tried my best to
hide the heat on my face.you were with your friends,
laughing.
i don't think,
they saw those hollows beneath your
otherwise, sparkly eyes,
although,
i did.
what is wrong, my love?our shoulders only
lightly brushed, while you passed me.
you didn't seem to notice, although,
the effect, that
tiny gesture
had on me.
and i was grateful
you didn't.you didn't give me a second glance, before
walking away with
your friends.you looked happy.
but love, i can
fairly see
through that facade of yours.
