Little Boy's P.O.V.

When the Hooded Woman told me to go home, I rushed off but instead of going to my bus, I went to the woods. I wanted to see how she really was when she wasn't around kids, even though we are teen agers. I hid behind a tree and stood there for about half an hour. I went to readjust my foot but stepped on a stick and it broke. Only seconds later, I was face to face with the Hooded Woman.

"What are you doing here?" She said as if she were nervous.

"I... Um... " I couldn't think of something to say.

"Where you... Spying on me?" She said shocked.

"N-no! I would never do that! I'm sorry if it seems like I was." I quickly said trying to save my butt.

"What's your name anyways?"

"Peter, Peter Lampkin."

"Well Peter, I accept your apology, but you should really be getting home." I nodded and ran off into the woods, hoping she wouldn't follow to make sure I did actually get home. The Hooded Woman actually wasn't as scary as I thought she was. I thought she would rip my head off if she knew why I was really following her. That was a close call.

I was scared I had come off to harsh on the little boy when he started stuttering. He seemed really nervous and a little flustered, and then it hit me.

"Where you... Spying on me?" I was taken aback by the thought of it, but it had to be true.

"N-no! I would never do that! I'm sorry if it seems like I was." He seemed truly sincere. I took a deep breath and calmed down.

"What's your name anyways?"

"Peter, Peter Lampkin." Peter Lampkin, that name sound familiar... I thought to myself. I shrugged it off and told Peter once again to go home. He rushed off and when he was gone, I got in the tree tops and followed him all the way to his house, making sure he didn't see me.
